[ Good morning, citizens of the Far Shore! It's your resident dawn goddess, up bright and early and looking... surprisingly neither bright-eyed or bushy-tailed. She looks pretty tired actually. ]

I have a question, and I thought someone here might be able to help me. Ever since I arrived here, I've noticed that I haven't been able to sleep past a certain time of day. Usually early in the morning, around five or six. Maybe it has something to do with the goddess I'm supposed to be substitute for? I don't know. But I've never been good with mornings, and this is really starting to get to me.

[ She punctuates that point with a yawn hidden behind her hand. ]

Does anyone have any advice? I mean, other than going to sleep earlier, of course.

[It’s rare that he posts to the BBS; Sousuke’s quiet nature and sometimes-over-focus kind of leads to that little problem. Content to dwell with his own life and his own small circle of friends and duties. But sometimes, the private life just doesn’t cut it. Especially when said private life is the entire reason for breaking his silence and going outside that small circle.

The video feed clicks on with a quiet sound, light blazing from the screen for a second until it adjusts to the scenery. It’s soon obvious he’s alone. Considering the presence of a black jacket barely resting at the peripheral of the video’s frame, it’s likely he’s holding the screen to his side. Deliberately not pointing the feed at himself. Instead, there’s a lovely shot of a quiet patch of natural garden, complete with trickling spring, breezing of clear air, and the ever-present drizzle of pink sakura petals from the surrounding grove Eros’ castle temple is renowned for.

There’s a moment of silence, semi-awkward on his end, before Sousuke finally outs with it. His tone’s calm, musing.]

Can a god and a shinki be more than god and shinki? [A measure before adding in a lower voice.] Or will it make problems between them?

[Yeah, it’s vague, he knows. The nature of god and shinki is a complex relationship. But Sousuke’s not honest enough with his softer emotions and being open to other people to outright ask the serious/~~embarrassing~~ question:

Second...and sort of embarrassing...does anyone else FORGET they have a shinki? In my defense, he's about as interesting as as a person as he is as a weapon, so I keep forgetting he's around...

i mean most of us dont have much in the way of family here so whose name you pick things like that
it doesnt matter so much

so its strange but... its still a very appealing thought

i bet that it might be a bit of a problem between a shinki and a god though

[The image comes into focus, revealing a pair of teens holding hands as they walk side by side down a quiet neighborhood street. They both appear happy. Laughing. You might even say they're in love. At the start of a new school year, it seems the perfect time for this sort of thing.]

... He prayed for her to love him.

[The young couple fade in and out of focus as he speaks, blurred and fuzzy around the edges. Behind the camera there's a scoff.]

I didn't know if I wanted to, but I gave it to him anyway. And now she'll love him until I tell her to stop.

[Finally they disappear around a corner... just as another boy appears into frame. He pauses, but the couple doesn't notice. He stares over his shoulder, but the couple doesn't notice. ... He has his eyes on the young girl. But she doesn't notice.]

That's who she used to love. ... He doesn't know why she left. Probably never will, even if he still loves her.

[After a minute of watching the two's backs, the boy finally turns around to continue trudging down the street alone, his head hung and eyes focused towards his shoes. Rin waits for him to also disappear out of frame before continuing.]

Tell me-- [a deep breath] --am I dangerous?

I wanted to ask a question, but first I have something I should let people know of.

Psyche, Exemplar of Lakshmi, has disappeared. I’m afraid that I don’t know who her friends are, so I can’t let you know through private messages.

On another note, Lakshmi’s temple has moved. Now it’s in the southeast district. Has any other temple belonging to the new gods moved?

Which is not the question I wanted to ask initially, but anyway, I’d like to know.

As for my original question:

Are there bullets of holy water that can be loaded into normal guns around? I mean, bullets that have holy water inside them, that pops open or explode, in some way, upon impact. I have been looking, but I might have missed it if there are. If not, do you think anyone would be able to make some?

It doesn't have to be fancy, or even cooked, just something you yourself would bring to an occasion like that.

Also, no alcohol. This isn't for a romantic occasion. Though food cooked with alcohol is a-okay.

[ Good morning, people of the Far Shore. D2 just woke up, which is easy to tell because his hair is in an obvious sleep-caused mess and he's still in his pj.

He seems disgruntled, but he got a bit of a surprise when he woke up. ]

Did anyone lose a military uniform in my bed? [ He pulls up the pillow that's wearing the jacket, to show part of the white dress uniform, extra visible against the green he's currently wearing. ] Or is it some form of prank thing? I'm pretty sure it's a US Navy issued uniform, so if anyone has a clue.

[ If he wasn't still tired and freshly awake and if he had not been startled awake and if he had had some coffee, maybe he would joke about it. (He probably would have, but, he's not a morning person.) ]

It's rare to see Lavi post up on the BBS when it isn't under anonymous, but after waking up from a wonderful sleep and regaining a memory, maybe it's time to greet the morning with a song, don't you think?

So, Lavi starts to sing the song that's been in his mind all day (and yes, he is a lovely singer, okay). It goes on for a few verses before he abruptly stops and then:]

Anyone wouldn't happen to recognize that, would they? It's been stuck in my head all morning and it's beginning to get annoying.

Thank you - to the people who've come by Hajime's temple to see me. That's where I've decided to... go, I guess is the best way to say it.

[Her smile tilts up a little.]

It just seems so sad... that I started to remember more about them now that they're gone. More about them and where they hopefully went home to.

'There are many worlds, but they share the same sky' - that was part of the note. The... one I can't seem to stop reading.

[Then she lowers her head.]

I've responded so many times when shinki talked about losing their gods... I never thought...

[She rubs her nose a little and sniffs, then lifts her head back up again.]

But Hajime's a great friend and I'm glad she's my goddess now. I'm glad we were friends first. It... helps.

[[OOC: Feel free to handwave your character having stopped by to see Kairi either at Forrest's temple or Hajime's. Sora & Roxas disappeared on July 30th in-game, so it's been 2 weeks. She was at Forrest's for one week and Hajime's the second week.]]

[ The phone turns on in the dark of night, and the first thing that comes across is simply breathing. The occasional shuffling noise accompanies it. Then there’s a crash. ]

Chikusaaaaa, did you redecorate while I was gone?

[ It’s clear that Axel’s a bit drunk. Also that he’s trying to contact Chikusa. Also also that he is not in his temple. Especially when another voice chimes in. ]

[ A frown subconsciously mars his mouth at the shinki’s name as the loud crash pulls Zero from the depths of his coma. He wakes instantly, sitting up automatically in the middle of the bed with a hand pressed to his temple. A headache dulls his senses but not enough to hide the intruder. ]

Breaking and entering is a crime you know.

[ Axel has to pause a moment to figure out what’s going on. Clearly, the simplest solution… ]

Wait… hat thief asshole? Why are you in my temple?

[ Axel is confused. ]

Get out.

[ Axel’s voice is still confused. ]

… What? Isn’t this my temple?

Get out. [ The covers are thrown aside. ] Or I throw you out. [ And he’s up on his feet only he’s been in a coma for almost two weeks and his legs can’t quite hold him, so the moment he stands he falls. ]

[ As Zero falls, Axel attempts to catch him, attempts being the operative word. They both end up on the floor, the phone’s camera catching them in the pre-dawn light. Axel lets out a groan, but then starts to chuckle. ]

I still don’t know if I can say this, but GODS am I ever drunk.

[ The moment they fall, Zero automatically twists using the god to break his fall and at the confession the less than happy vampire glares at him before grabbing the spare anti-vampire cuffs from his drawer and handcuffing him to the metal headboard. ]

You’re going to tell me who you are and what you’re doing here.

[ As he starts his interrogation, the recording times out. ]

Say you are a shinki... and you have lost your god. You have waited for them to come back... but you have begun to realize, perhaps they never will return. Now, you feel empty... and lost.

But then, a god who has watched over you since you arrived here takes you in. You care about them a great deal. You want to ask if they will allow you to be their shinki...

But do you do it, if the chances are slim that they will accept? Is it best... to spare yourself the embarrassment... and pain... of being rejected? I am currently living with them... so I also fear that perhaps if I pose the question and am rejected... perhaps they will not want me to stay with them anymore. I would like to think that they are a better person than that... a kinder person... but what if I am wrong? What if I am just fooling myself into thinking otherwise... due to my own loneliness?

What would you do?

Does anyone know what to do about pest control? These guys have been everywhere since I first arrived and I've about had it.

[Posted along with it is an image of his temple field in a swarm of butterflies. Dark reds, oranges, and blues, all migrated to one place and attracted to him and the poppies. They're perfectly harmless, but they never leave.]

[Chikusa actually meant to make this post a while ago, but.... Well. Things happened. Whatever. He's making it now.]

This is for the benefit of what new people who have arrived and all those who ignored Kairi and Yukine's warning here, but I'll repeat it all. It's apparently necessary.

There are three ways to get blight:
1. Touch a person that is blighted.
2. Touch an ayakashi.
3. Feeling guilt.

The first two can be washed away with holy water from a shrine or temple. The last can only be cleaned up reliably if you apologize for your guilt and repent to your god. If you don't and only continue to feel guilt, it will build up.

Shinki carrying too much blight become ayakashi. This should be enough of a deterrent but it's repeatedly been shown not to be.

In the event that a shinki doesn't repent and a god doesn't want to release them, an ablution can help. However, not only is it extremely painful for both shinki and god alike, it requires three separate shinki with extremely powerful borderlines and knowledge of the ablution incantation.

I have taken part in three ablutions in the last two months. I have no faith that people will do the sensible thing. So I'm offering myself for any future ablutions since an ayakashi on the loose in the Far Shore would be annoying. I guarantee that my borderline is reliable and that it won't matter how the targeted shinki reacts.

Just repay me for having to deal with such a troublesome and annoying thing.

New here, or pretty sure I am. I might have been here before. I remember a guy who was a god, my god, but I just got here and I'm pretty damn sure I ain't no shinki.

It's giving me a serious case of the Twilight Zone feels here. Anyone else had this happen?

[A certain someone got themselves dead after Sora left and has come back as a god. Memory loss, yay!]

Also, does every temple come with a cat or three? The horse at least makes sense.

[And may have been left some pets.]

[ The video begins at an unflattering upward angle on Gojyo's shell-shocked face. He's holding the phone at about chest height, the camera pointed at him. Judging from his expression, whatever he's looking at beyond the camera's view must be absolutely horrifying.

He opens his mouth to speak, closes it again, then looks down at the camera. ]

This is for anyone who knew Ekko. Chronos. [ He can't look away from the view in front of him for long -- his eyes are drawn back to it, again and again. ] He's dead.

[ He clearly considers turning the camera toward whatever it is he's been looking at -- it's obvious in the way he glances between the two -- but he decides against it. And there's really nothing more to say, is there? The feed goes dark. ]

(OOC: As of about 3pm on the 28th, nearly all of the remains have been gathered up and buried a the foot of a nice tree. There's no gravesite marker, but it should be obvious to anyone that somebody's recently buried something at the base of that tree, and the grave is shallow enough that if anyone wanted to dig it up, it wouldn't take much effort at all.)

Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've made an announcement like this, but I'm afraid I've been a little busy lately. I hadn't intended to stop taking clothing commissions, but I've been training with Lady Orihime over the past few weeks to learn more about creating divine raiments and it's been taking up most of my free time. I've finished my first major project, though, so I've got a little more flexibility lately.

I still won't be taking commission work until I've finished my training, but I do have enough time to open the temple up for beauty treatments. The pools in the garden behind the temple have healing properties and help keep skin soft, and I can also do hair and nail work for anyone who's interested. In addition, I'll be teaching a sewing class once a week at Hakkai's school. And once Lady Orihime is satisfied with my progress, I'll be able to start making clothing again too. So if anyone is interested in any of that, feel free to let me know and we can either set up an appointment at Lakshmi's temple or get you enrolled at the school.

[Forrest smiles, nodding at the feed.]
