I wanted to ask a question, but first I have something I should let people know of.

Psyche, Exemplar of Lakshmi, has disappeared. I’m afraid that I don’t know who her friends are, so I can’t let you know through private messages.

On another note, Lakshmi’s temple has moved. Now it’s in the southeast district. Has any other temple belonging to the new gods moved?

Which is not the question I wanted to ask initially, but anyway, I’d like to know.

As for my original question:

Are there bullets of holy water that can be loaded into normal guns around? I mean, bullets that have holy water inside them, that pops open or explode, in some way, upon impact. I have been looking, but I might have missed it if there are. If not, do you think anyone would be able to make some?

Honestly, I got the impression she wasn't someone very many people at all knew 'well'. But I consider her a friend.

You think so? But it's nice that you did.

Nice in some ways, but... It does leave us with nothing but worry, doesn't it? Not knowing what happens to a shinki who leaves...

Yeah. It does, doesn’t it, a fair bit.

I can't believe this is the end for any of us, though. Especially since some shinki have left and then returned, even become gods, right? So I'll believe that this is good for her.

But it seems strange to think that. That it’s not the end. I know some shinki have become gods which is a bit confusing but it’s rare.
You believe that it might be good for her because she might come back?

I believe it because I don't know what will happen. So I believe it... because I would hate to believe the opposite. That's all. I don't know what will happen, so I choose to believe it will be a good thing.

Otherwise, getting up in the morning would just be that much harder.

Finding ways to live with what we don't know... that's how we shinki DO live, isn't it. Since we... technically don't any more.

I haven't given up on learning what my life was like, but for the moment I'm at peace with not knowing. I don't want that to change, not when I know what the consequences might be.

Neither have I but since we can't look for answers too deeply. It sucks but being at peace with it sure helps.

I'm sorry to hear about Psyche. I quite liked her.

My temple is in the same place it's always been, but I may have to look into that. It would certainly be more convenient to be a bit further east.

Have you considered paintball guns?

So you’re looking to move if you’re able to, then? If you do, would you tell me?

I haven’t. So like, I should have water put in small balls the way paint is, somehow?

I'll think about it. It would mean a longer walk to the school, of course... Regardless, I'll tell you if I do.

I'm not sure how they're manufactured, but it might work better than trying to get water and gunpowder to play well with each other.

If anything, it's more exercise. Though you can teleport, can't you? That's a god thing, right? Anyway thanks in advance, in that case.

I don't know either, but wet gunpowder doesn't really work well at all, so it would probably need to be put separately in the bullet. I should look into it.

It might also be hard to keep water from evaporating or splattering in the barrel, while making it possible to splash it on the target....

Really, if it weren't for the limited range, I'd just suggest a water gun.

That too. And that would be complicated too.

Oh I know about that, I have a couple already. They only help so much.

Yes, exactly. A paintball gun wouldn't have any better penetration ability than a water gun, but it would at least have much better range. Some ayakashi are quite large, or fast, or they can fly.

Yeah, it would. It would be faster too. And easier to aim with.

If you do discover a way to make something like that, please let me know? It's something that could be useful for other gods and shinki too.

Yeah, sure, I'll be sure to do that. I don't know if I'll be able to find a solution soon, though. But I want to be able to use what I'm most capable of using, so I will keep looking until I find something. And then I'll definitely tell you.

Yeah.. And you've known her longer than I have and if she's been with you for that long.. Are you alright?

The temple will be that much quieter, but I'll be fine. Unfortunately, Psyche isn't the first person I've experienced this with.
