Quick question. What does everyone consider picnic foods?

It doesn't have to be fancy, or even cooked, just something you yourself would bring to an occasion like that.

Also, no alcohol. This isn't for a romantic occasion. Though food cooked with alcohol is a-okay.

My thanks to everyone who helped clean and repair the abandoned temple! I'm pleased to report that it seems to be monster free and perfectly safe. There are also new windows.

I'll be resuming tutoring there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons starting next week. So far the subjects I'm teaching are primarily math and Japanese. Please let me know if you will be attending or if there are any other subjects you'd like to learn. Household budgeting and cooking, for example.

There's no charge for my instruction, but donations of books, furniture and classroom equipment are always welcome. Please consider this building a community space, and feel free to use it if you wish to hold any classes or meetings of your own. Add them to our schedule, clean up after yourselves and don't break anything. (⋆^-^⋆)ノ

I do not think this is the time for beach parties. Half of us cannot remember who we are. Those of us who know a shinki's past could kill them with a single word, without ever meaning for them to come to harm. This should not be accepted as normal without so much as an explanation as to why it is necessary.

What reason could there possibly be to strip someone of all memory?

Why does nobody seem to know what is going on?

[He is so mad. So very, very mad right now. He doesn't remember how much he loved books beforehand, but he does know that he has all of two personal belonging here - his satchel and his feather hairpiece. That means anything not nailed down, he doesn't mind taking. He found those books, that made them his.

Until the goblins came.

He had the sense to go back to bed after they woke him up in the middle of the night, but he can most certainly scream while preparing breakfast.]

Of all the things to jump into my bed in the middle of the night and take from me... Books? Not even books that teach you fundamental skills! Puff the Magic Dragon, a children's book, clearly; The Giving Tree, which is also more art than words and not even diagrams; and some kind of book that actually had pieces that jumped up at me off the page.

The books were lying on the ground! Clearly whoever lost them didn't care that much about them! So I picked them up and brought them to my god's temple! What was wrong about that?!

If anyone has books that they don't want anymore, I will gladly take them off your hands instead of throwing them on the ground!

so about a week ago i noticed a bunch of weird fireflies in the sky and the next thing i knew i was lost in a dark forest for a few hours. i ran into a whole bunch of different spirits and people! this is a giant heads up to everyone to stay far away from that crazy dark forest if you can help it! don’t follow the glowy things! it was really dangerous in there.

some of the weirdest spirits were a cat with a napkin on its head, a little boy with no eyes that wanted to know a memory, a lady pretending she was a shinki but was actually a giant spider and a giant fire breathing fluffy rooster. and that’s just some of them!

[Yes. A giant rooster demon. Insert bad jokes here.]

has anyone else run into weird spirits around the heavens? be careful! and stick together!

anyway, while out walking a day ago i found this really cool and really old temple. i kind of want to check it out! anyone up for some adventuring checking out some ruins? might find something really neat! hidden treasure? special artifacts?? we're in the heavens there's bound to be something super interesting!

look at it! it’s like right out of a story book!

[Sora attaches two images that he took with his phone of the outside of the temple. IMAGE ONE and IMAGE TWO.]

a question for shinki... and gods too, i guess. i dont know if this has been asked already... i rarely look at this thing so i wouldnt know. but im curious: what makes your god trustworthy? is it how they present themselves, or what they do as an individual? what made you realize that being their shinki wasn't an issue, even if you had no choice in the matter?

if youre a god reading this... how would you go about earning a shinkis trust?
