Why is the Internet like this?
I am highly disappointed in it.
Surely there is more to it than this.

Everyone can be much better than this.

There's a great deal of information on the Internet, at least. Can't say the culture of it makes a damn bit of sense to me, but it's useful if you learn the right places to look.

Ignore the emoji. Complaining just makes it worse.

Information is one thing, but lack of a professional air is another. This is a means to gift knowledge across the span of countries and oceans -- and it's being used to send cat images with text over to one another.

I am offended on behalf of the people who created this base of information.

I confess that in confuses me too. It is... strange, often nonsensical, and I don't at all understand the preoccupation with cats.

[Although she will admit that cats are a lot more sensible than humans. Perhaps humans are aware of this too?]

However, to the best of my understanding, this is what human nature is like. Why do you expect it to be different, exactly?

[ If she is speaking to him, he sees no reason why he shouldn't speak to her, too. There are long pauses before he speaks and after he speaks indicating that he isn't one-hundred percent sure if it is recording or not. ]

If it helps, I prefer this way a lot better than that written stuff, myself. It's much faster.

So there is some fumbling as he attempts to record and a sigh as the camera slides -- falls on its side as he had attempted to stand it up. So half of his recorded person is on its side. ]

Apparently you are dismissing the behavior of others. Or blind to it. Either way, avoiding something isn't the same as fixing it. If I see something is wrong, it should be addressed, at the very, very least.
