[Hey, who are these three weirdos showing up on the BBS feed? They may not be familiar to some but to others, the forms of Izumo, Aymeric, and Leo are on screen thanks to the laptop camera in Aymeric's office. No cats included but strange enough the camera is able to fit all three men in view without issue..]
Greetings and well met, Far Shore. To those who are curious of who we are, I am Aymeric de Borel-
Leo, formerly prince of Nohr.
And Izumo Kusanagi.
We come to you with an idea that some may have heard or seen within the past few days, coming together to express it the best way we can. Recall when you first arrived in this realm and were told about your new positions whether god or shinki. However, have you noticed that the information given to us was sparse? Most of what we know now was by either word-of-mouth, spoken by fellow comrades, or we had to experience it.
[Do they need a reminder of Axel and how important the Gods’ Greatest Secret is? While they cannot see it on screen, he keeps his hands folded.]
Not only that but when someone vanishes and there are shinki with no place to go, only to rely on this network and their own connections to find a place to stay and to be safe from harm...there needs to be something done. And we may have that very idea to help: the three of us have come up with the notion of a center of sorts. One to be able to house various information about this world and our roles as well as what can be done.
[Looking to both men as he speaks. He’s not the only one doing this...even if he did kind of drag them into it.
So Leo speaks up.]
There is almost no organization here. We rely on once-monthly training sessions for any information or way to meet the other gods and shinki in the heavens, and sometimes it can be weeks before we realize someone has left the heavens, leaving their shinki godless or their god shinki-less. There is no way to determine how many gods a shinki is named by or how many shinki a god has and what their names are. There is no database of information, no collection of what we know about the world we’re in or the worlds we come from. This is a problem.
[Okay, he’s done.]
It is for this reason that we had decided to fix that problem [A brief pause as he glances at the other two.] and opted to do what we can to help everyone here - god and shinki alike. At the moment, we have managed to procure a location for this at Heaven’s library and we will also offer classes or aid for anyone who finds themselves confused by anything that may seem new to them - such as the technology like the phones that each of us are given when we initially arrive.
Along with the location, we are looking for those able bodied in both physical and mental capabilities to help with the process. There are places that have not yet been mapped and to have a general consensus of the lay of the land would do wonders for those newly arrived. If a shinki has no place to go if they become godless, we need those who are willing to open their doors to give shelter until they can get up on their feet. There needs to be much more information on subjects such as Noraing other than the taboo and whispers in the shadows about how harmful it is. Unless we arm ourselves with knowledge, we will remain ignorant and possibly lose a valuable tool at our disposal.
If there is anyone who is willing to help us, we can be either reached at our current office at the library as mentioned earlier or at this current number to whom we are speaking from along with the temple of Forseti.
[And there’s directions to said library and Aymeric’s temple attached to the message as well. Why only his info? Does anyone want to deal with Niles answering the door? And Izumo seems to be a private person so it’s only fair.]
There has been too much discourse about how to go on in this realm and how only one group should be responsible for the displaced masses. So let us repay in kind and instead of bemusing the misfortunes that are upon us, to stand up and do something for a change. Instead of sitting and watch the world pass by, offer your assistance to someone who needs it. Open your home to one who needs safety in an uncertain time. That is what we are trying to accomplish but we cannot see this to completion alone: we need help, nay we need you.
