Does anyone have any experience with the care of small, white dragons? What foods do they prefer?
What is the best way to determine their mood: head movements? Wings? Tail? Vocalizations?
Specifically, how can you tell when they are about to bite?
[Not that he's failed to tell he was about to be bitten a few times already. Of course not.
There is a picture of a small, snaky-bodied white dragon with a ruff running all the way down its long neck attached. In the picture, the dragon is flaring its wings over a plate of raw hamburger with a look of serious annoyance and its mouth wide open in a silent kyuuuu!]

[Give her a few seconds to recover before she sends another text.]
If you can't figure it out you should let him pick! Give him a wide selection and then whatever he eats is the right choice!

[...and let a dragon crawl all over inside it... he winces at the thought.]
I was hoping someone might know before I went to those lengths!

Oh, he's beautiful.
Most of that will vary by individual, as with any creature, so it might take some time to learn what his particular tells are.
That said, he doesn't look very pleased with what you've offered him. Perhaps you should try cooking it. Or you might let him raid your kitchen so he can find what he likes for himself.
no subject
[Including the one about allowing him to raid the kitchen. Hakkai still doesn't like that idea very much, though.]
He is a handsome dragon, isn't he? Although I had rather thought they were larger.

That is SO cool, Hakkai-san!
I've never seen anything like it before, so I'm glad other people could give you advice about what to feed it.
I hope I can see it too, next time I'm over.
Though it is strange that everyone is getting gifts all the sudden...? Where did the boar, demon and dragon come from?
no subject
If you're gentle with him and he doesn't mind, you might even be able to pet him!

It probably eats meat?
[H GOD THERE'S A PICTURE SHE DIDN'T SEE IT UNTIL NOW. Oh no it's cute. how does she ask to see it and pet it in a Completely Mature Adult Way?]
When can i pet him?
[nailed it]
no subject
Perhaps if you come by tomorrow? He could use a little time to calm down, but I'm sure he'd like you once you've been introduced.

I can't help you about how to care for a dragon, though.
private message
It seems quite a few of them have been unusual animals of some variety. Possibly ones that have some sort of relationship to us....
And one person seems to suddenly be wondering about our memories, too.
