One of the other shinki here is a cyborg, there are at least three gods with the same face but they aren't related or clones, two share the same name, and I strongly suspect there's at least one person who is technically a computer program, so if you're feeling strange and out of place...

...That's actually quite normal.

Three cyborgs; two shinki and one god, to be more precise. [Of course Add would have these stats.]

Considering those last three examples are all from the same group, I think that speaks more of their own strangeness rather than all gods and shinki in general. Although, there is certainly a colourful variety of people here regardless.

the whole answering prayers thing is suppose to help you kill more monsters since some of the prayers stem from crisis caused by the monsters
also you're suppose to help protect your partner whoever that is

Here, have a glossary. I think I covered everything.

Far Shore - Here, our home

Near Shore - Earth, home to living people.

God - A deity, bestowed power probably by Heavens, or they're just bluffing. Godly domain and responsibilities etc.

Shinki - Divine weapons. We're dead. Enjoy your afterlife if you fall into this category.

Vessel form - Basically weapon shinki changes into

Ayakashi - Spirits, demons, whatever. They're harmful to residents of both Shores. Eliminate on sight. Range in size from little shits to huge monsters. Note: you require a god and shinki in it's weapon form to successfully destroy them.

Blight - Ayakashi spread this. You don't want to get in contact with it.
