I have all my weapons installed as well, but they don't do much against ayakashi. Been there, tested that.

But by all means, you're free to try. If you get better results, that will be an interesting progress.

Sure it works better if Jin uses me as a sword instead, but I can do some decent damage all by my lonesome. I was born for this. I may not remember it, but I can feel it in my bones. You know that kind of feeling?

I slash them with my sword... or I blast them with this big death beam. It doesn't work WELL but it works.

Fire or crushing can work on the smaller ones. But some of them can grow themselves back even from pile of ashes.
