[Hello, Far Shore!
Here's your resident redhaired librarian who greets everyone with a slight smile and a wave.]
Hey, everyone. I've noticed there's been quite a few people here who are either illiterate or mute [Selectively mute, anyway] so I've decided to find a way where it might be easier to communicate.
I'll be teaching sign language for anyone who's interested and I'm also offering to help anyone who would like to learn how to read. So far, these will be initially taught at the library or I can even do private tutoring sessions for anyone as well. If you also know people who are interested, spread the word.
And for those who doesn't know me yet, the name's Lavi.

He gives a little smile.]
It's nice to meet you.
[As if the name wasn't enough of a giveaway.]
That's really helpful of you. I've never learned sign language before, and I can talk alright. But I think it might be useful to know. In case somebody who gives a prayer to my god has that kind of problem. The more languages we know the easier it is.

Lavi doesn't say anything for a brief moment, a bit too stunned because Izuku--
Izuku should remember him. He shouldn't have--what the hell happened?!]

Nice to meet you, too.
But I did figure it'd be a good thing to learn, anyway. As you said, some of the prayers we can go on can be a it of a problem when it comes to the language barriers.

That sounds like it could be useful to learn.
I've used hand gestures to communicate before, but it was only something we created ourselves. Not any official language.

Reading was a topic that had piqued his interest immediately, for even working with the phone had taught him how integral that skill was. Sign language was a new concept-- but, given his shyness in regards to words...]

[And here he'll give her an example of "How do you do?" in sign language.] The sign I just did was the question of: How do you do?

There is a language to speak to those who have trouble with speaking and words? What is this sign language?
no subject
[He cracks a smile.]
It doesn't just help people who have trouble speaking - it can also help those who are deaf, too.

Like in, an official language where specific gestures means specific things?
