[Hello, Far Shore!

Here's your resident redhaired librarian who greets everyone with a slight smile and a wave.]

Hey, everyone. I've noticed there's been quite a few people here who are either illiterate or mute [Selectively mute, anyway] so I've decided to find a way where it might be easier to communicate.

I'll be teaching sign language for anyone who's interested and I'm also offering to help anyone who would like to learn how to read. So far, these will be initially taught at the library or I can even do private tutoring sessions for anyone as well. If you also know people who are interested, spread the word.

And for those who doesn't know me yet, the name's Lavi.

[It takes him a while to figure out where the library is. But he gets there eventually.

On the back of his right hand, in the big, distinctive, red mark: 能. He's a shinki now.]

[The first thing he notices is the vessel name and Lavi has to quickly clamp down on the dread that's formed inside of him at the sight of it.

Of all the people to have become a shinki...

Lavi smiles, giving Izuku a wave.]

[He perks up when he recognizes Lavi and starts walking over.]

It's nice to meet you in person, Lavi.

Yeah, you too.

[Definitely keeping up the smile now.]

Is this your first time being here?

[fullcowl]

[He nods.]

Yeah, I've mostly been spending time with my god and getting used to things.

[lostinshadows]

If you don't mind me asking, who's your god? My goddess is Hel, otherwise known as Cardia.

[...This is too much to ask for the first meeting, isn't it? He hopes he doesn't make Izuku uncomfortable with the questions.]

[He has no reason to lie about this, and Lavi just admitted who he's working for.]

His designation is Nemesis, but his name is Todoroki Shouto.

[....What the hell did you two do to get such a role switch?

Lavi grins at him.]

Alright. Then let's get started shall we?

[fullcowl]

[It's a mystery and Izuku's not even aware there was a switch.]

Right. Um... I guess we start with the basics, like the alphabet?

[lostinshadows]

That's right.

[He nods to a table and some chairs.] Might be good for us to sit while we do this.

[fullcowl]

[He'll make his way over to the table and takes a seat.]

Is this Japanese sign language? I think they're different depending on where you are.

[lostinshadows]

Yeah, we'll be learning Japanese sign language first.

[Because of course Lavi had taken to the Internet to learn more about the different kinds of sign languages around the world.]

And from there, we can move on to others if you're still up for it.

[fullcowl]

That sounds great. Thank you for teaching this.

[lostinshadows]

It was no problem. [He smiles at him.] I thought it'd benefit everyone, after all.

[fullcowl]

It's still kind of you.

[lostinshadows]

...Right.

[He ignores the slight pang that comes from being 'kind.]

Well, let's not waste time then, shall we? I don't know if you might end up having plans later.

[fullcowl]

Todoroki-kun didn't say we had anything planned today...? I guess that could change though.

[lostinshadows]

Mm.

[A smile in agreement.]

Plans have a way of changing at the last minute.
