[Hello, Far Shore!

Here's your resident redhaired librarian who greets everyone with a slight smile and a wave.]

Hey, everyone. I've noticed there's been quite a few people here who are either illiterate or mute [Selectively mute, anyway] so I've decided to find a way where it might be easier to communicate.

I'll be teaching sign language for anyone who's interested and I'm also offering to help anyone who would like to learn how to read. So far, these will be initially taught at the library or I can even do private tutoring sessions for anyone as well. If you also know people who are interested, spread the word.

And for those who doesn't know me yet, the name's Lavi.

[Slowly, Shin-Ah nodded-- as if slowly realizing that this person was talking to him and not someone else who was watching-- and he remembered Yona's helpful words in regard to this strange, magical box.]

Um...

[He keeps up a friendly smile.]

Which one are you most interested in or do you want to learn both?

[To that he nodded emphatically-- yes, he did want to learn both, if that was allowed.

He also didn't want to take up too much of this kind person's time-- after all, it sounded like there were others in this same position.]

[Lavi chuckles, the smile shifting into a small grin.]

Well, if you're not busy with anything, we can start whenever you'd like. Like I said, I'm usually found in the library, but if there's another place you'd like to learn in where you're most comfortable, we can do it there, too.

[farseen]

The... library?

[The strangeness of the suggestion was what coaxed him to speak up-- for, weren't libraries places where quiet was needed? Wouldn't teaching someone in there disturb other people?]

That's right. [But he can understand the skepticism.] Heaven's library is usually empty since it can be frustrating to look for specific books, but there's also a school here that can be used.

[Besides, he doesn't see much people go into the library anyway unless absolutely necessary.]

[farseen]

[Silently, Shin-Ah nodded. So long as no one was being disturbed by their actions, he would go where ever was necessary in order to learn.

Because, despite his silences, he did have things he wanted to say. Words simply weren't his friend for reasons he had yet to fathom.]

Well, if you're not terribly busy then, stop on by.

[Though, given the amount of interest given, he might actually have to move this all into a classroom.]

Mm!

[He nodded emphatically to show his understanding, and to confirm that he would be there. A classroom full of like minded people would be a fascinating experience, and an excellent way to meet like-minded people.]
