How would you define the word monster?

Why do you ask?

What do you mean by 'close?'

Do you mind if I ask what your answer would have been?
Back when you first got here, I mean.

Could it stray?
Perhaps become something less monstrous?

Re: Anonymous
Do you mean that the same creature might be a monster in one place and something else in another?
text
But the meaning of that depends on how you define "human," so that probably won't help you.

A lot of things are monsters in that case.

I don't like thinking like that, though.
It just sounds too cruel. There's all different kinds of not human, so who's to say which kinds count?

Re: text;
That's an awkward definition.
In that case, have you ever seen something you would call a monster?

youve gotten a lot of interesting answers by now.
How would you define the word monster? What's it mean to you anon-kun?
Re: Txt; Neith
Something that brings misfortune to anyone who gets close to it.
Something that can never know warmth or love.
Something that should never have been born.

That's a hard question! (´−`) ンー
They're like bad spirits... but not spirits? Maybe they have real bodies?
no subject
I'm getting many more answers than I expected.
I suppose whether they have physical bodies depends on the monster in question.
From: Ksitigarbha; Text
So chances are any thing being called a monster may fall into the same category, just more often it happens with people.
Text
Surely that person understands what they are.
