I am Kurosaki Hisoka, a shinigami of the Summons Division assigned to Kyushu. For more than a month now, I was placed with my partner, Tsuzuki Asato, under the role of a divine vessel. Due to a situation beyond our control, this is not the case any longer. If I caused you any concern, I would like to speak with you.

I have recently been informed that I have had the title of the god Fudaishi transferred to me. I understand that this is an anomalous situation, so I'm looking for information on the following subjects:

• Navigating Heaven's bureaucracy


• Current research in the transferrance of divine power


• Mechanics of how gods handle stray souls


• Divine spells governing loss of memory

Do you have any details of incidents where souls have vanished and been returned?

My original shinki has recently returned as well. He seems to recall what happened before his disappearance, but nothing between then and returning here. I'm in a similar predicament.

As for the stray souls, are you referring to shinki who serve more than one master, or souls that are not currently serving as shinki?

I'm glad to see that you have made an unusually full recovery, Kurosaki.

They're the two of the three sides of the subject. Understanding the magic behind the seal binding a soul in the role of a shinki could help determine how I recovered. It might be just because I'm already supposed to be an agent of a divine being that I was able to, but there could be something else there.

You're one of the people involved in that incident, right?

The catalyst was the destruction of the spell that bound me as a shinki, but how is another question. I don't think it would be safe to experiment.

As much as I'm relieved to see you again, I hope you don't mind the concern this brings. Do you have any memory of what happened between then and your revival?

You have good reason to be concerned. If situations like mine continue to occur, it's going to become a crisis situation.

I have limited memories of my time as a shinki, but none that cover the time between my apparent destruction and revival. This discussion may offer some insight, as well.
