I guess this is the best way to ask -- has anyone else noticed some of the shinki act a lot more reserved than others? Not like a quiet person. That's not a bad thing. Like it's hard to talk to them about themselves and they don't remember a name other than the one their god gave them?

Ah, if it matters, I'm a god. I'm just trying to figure out how I can best help my shinki. He's my responsibility after all.

Yes, in fact. I share a household with one.

My theory is that whatever spell brought all of our souls here damaged them somehow. It's only a guess, of course.

Not all of us are dead. As for why I think it's a spell, though, it's because our appearance here isn't it at all like the way normal gods and shinki come to this heaven.

As far as I know, not even Amaterasu understands what's causing it.

I'm used to quiet. Meji just acts like he doesn't mind what's going on around him.

But if he doesn't have any ambitions, I can't help him achieve them either, whether it's his real name or a new hobby or something.

The gentleman I met who had one like that said the poor kid kept walking into walls like it wasn't even bothering him. They're odd.

I reckon you can keep him fed and going in the right direction.

Susano-o had one of those! His name was Pico

He was nice though just kinda shy I guess

But he never really said a whole lot either and he didn't really know about a lot of stuff and he just followed kinda blindly

Actually it was a little creepy sorta because he didn't even question stuff Susano-o was doing at all

The not questioning part is definitely true of Meji! That's what I don't like either.

I had one like that before. There isn't a hell of a lot you can do about it - there doesn't seem to be anything to them to talk about. They're like empty vessels.

Looking out for them is fine, but don't expect it to change anything in this case.

I'm not so easy to placate, but I'll keep that in mind. I have some new options to consider at least, now that I know some more about them.

Are you speaking about the souless shinki? I've heard of those, but I haven't met them myself.

Either way, maybe they won't do it themselves but-thank you for looking out for looking out for them. I don't know if every god would look out for their shinki, much less reach out publicly like this.
