I guess this is the best way to ask -- has anyone else noticed some of the shinki act a lot more reserved than others? Not like a quiet person. That's not a bad thing. Like it's hard to talk to them about themselves and they don't remember a name other than the one their god gave them?

Ah, if it matters, I'm a god. I'm just trying to figure out how I can best help my shinki. He's my responsibility after all.

Hardly presumptuous -- it was an offer. I didn't say you had to take it at all. If I didn't start with an offer, we wouldn't even be continuing this conversation.

Offer? Hmm... kinda hard to make an offer to someone when I've only just got here. I could tell you how great I am, but it wouldn't be true. And I'm no scholar either. I'm a swordsman first and foremost, so skill is the only thing I can really measure by. I guess I can offer that if you want to be my shinki, then that's the only measure I'd care about where you're concerned too. Not just with a sword, but whatever skill you're focused on. And whatever that skill is, so long as you're working to improve it, I don't mind giving you space to work either.
