... So I went to sleep last night, and found myself home. Went through a whole couple months, a bunch of shit happened, and then I wake up here again after it's all over. Kinda feeling jerked around a bit, but what's happened has happened.

Anyway, I've been hearing prayers from people whose relationships are in trouble lately, and if this place is going to insist I be a love goddess, then I guess I'd better do something about it. Problem is, the soulless shinki this place assigned me and I haven't been getting on at all, and considering it's been a few months since I saw him from my perspective, I don't think it'd be a good idea to try and force it.

This isn't easy to admit, but if I'm gonna do this, I need help. Would anyone be willing to help me stake out the Tokyo Museum for a few nights? There's definitely ayakashi involved, so I definitely know I shouldn't go it alone.

That's right. I haven't been here long, even though it's been a few months from my perspective since I first saw this place.

Welcome, I guess. I've heard about people falling asleep for long periods of time. Shinki also sometimes remember things through dreams. What you experienced must be linked to all that.

Tokyo Museum, there's a new exhibit on dolls there, right?

Ishtar is a goddess of OTHER things. Justice, war, that kind of stuff. But I can't just ignore a problem beating around in my head when the prayers come in!

I mean, I guess justice is also important.. But compared to those other things, don't you think love is so much more important?! It's so good that there's a goddess out there taking care of that sort of thing too!! The world would be nowhere without love!

Although I'm not sure how compatible I would be with helping a goddess of love with their duties, I'm afraid I probably would be pretty useless in that department although on the other hand I don't really know what you're meant to do-..., I am in the market for a new god [ he's currently stuck with Hibiki of all people and that's just not going to fly forever, it's just not ] and I'm willing to help out where I can and give things a try, if you would be willing. I'm better at fighting than love matters overall though, so I'm not sure how useful I could be to you and your position.

[ Though, the moment after he's posted his comment, he's going to realize that maybe his death isn't the nicest thing to let a child see... Except he's only had one adult god out of the four ones he's had. ]

Well, I'm the goddess of justice and war too, so it's not like you're completely incompatible. And you can't deal with an ayakashi just by smiling at them and being and lovey dovey, right? We all gotta fight, as I understand it. Besides, I was fighting long before I ever came here.

Ah- then that does make a little bit of a difference I guess. You're right, attempting that would be pretty dangerous. Fighting is necessary here, though some are more inclined to pursue that path than others.

I fell asleep, and I was back home. I stayed there for a while, and then when I went to sleep then, I woke up back here. That's the long and short of it.

No that's just the short of it. There has to be more. Nobody else has done this you know. Are you sure it wasn't just a dream? A lot of people had dreams about their worlds recently.

Several months... Yes, that is consistent with what others have gone through. Twice now I've seen it make people's hair grow out, they feel like they've been gone so long.

Of course, the time didn't really pass for us here. It never does, not as long as it seems.
