Is anybody else still thinking about what happened with that school? I never did manage to dig up much information about that new principal, and we defeated the ayakashi, but still....

Did anyone figure out where he was from? Or what he was really doing?

That seemed like some high-level magic for a public school administrator to be throwing around.

I spent most of my time in the library. There was a man there, reading a lot of occult books. I think it might be related.

Yeah, it might be. Do you remember what he looked like? Height, clothes...?

It seemed like it was okay when I left, but I haven't been back yet. I thought I'd ask around first.

Going back to check isn't a bad idea, though. I think I'll give it a shot.

It seems like some - if not all - of the students were unusually enamored with him, to the point of seeming creepy. Apparently, he saved the school from the brink of destruction, though I'm not sure what exactly that was in reference to.

Perhaps they were under some sort of spell.

"Brink of destruction..." You know, I wonder if something else weird happened before? Maybe that ayakashi attack wasn't the first one.

[If it wasn't, he's extra ticked that nobody bothered to warn them about what might happen in advance. Some people didn't even have their shinki with them! He'd seen that group in the cafeteria...]

I didn't hear too much, except that the new principal was kind of creepy. Do you think it was something more than just an ayakashi?

It was definitely more than just an ayakashi. That spell that was draining the energy out of the students was strong -- I couldn't do more than slow it down.

Why are you still thinking about it? Sure, it was unusual, but everything should be fine there now.

Anyway, for what it's worth, Yuto and I found out that there was some strange stuff going on with the school's money. The school has a lot of money coming in, but compared to the costs, there was a lot of money not accounted for.

That's not all that strange though. Of course that huge ayakashi would amplify greed, along with who knows what else.

I'm just wondering... a lot of us found occult information around the school, for one thing. Like maybe that ayakashi was deliberately summoned. And I couldn't tell exactly what was going on with the students, but my wards weren't doing any more than slowing down the energy drain.

So, there might be a mortal sorcerer behind it. Which means taking down his big ayakashi isn't going to make everything fine forever.

Thanks, though! Shun and I found some doctored financial records too, so with those two put together, I think someone must've been stealing.

I didn't find anything about the principal but it looked like the teachers believed something supernatural was going, at least. Some of the students were suspicious before the attack, too.

Yeah, I wonder what kinds of things they saw? I couldn't get any details from anybody except for the stuff about the curse, and that sounded like a normal school rumor.

Maybe caused by the teachers getting sick.

Who were they suspicious of? Do you know?

I apologize for my poor timing. We could have offered assistance in defeating this ayakashi. Nevertheless, it sounds like everything was kept under control.

Yeah, we ran into a big one in a school. With everybody working together, it didn't last long, though!

Hey, have you ever heard of an ayakashi possessing jello before? Or other things, I guess, but this one left these big piles of lime jello when it disappeared.

He sure seemed to be doing all that of his own free will, but I couldn't figure that much out about him on his own. Other than that he was pretty interested in the occult....

I was thinking of going back there and poking around a bit, seeing what else we can figure out about the guy.

I'm still amazed about the amount of coordination that happened. I didn't expect ayakashi to work so well in group.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to find anything during my investigation. Aside from the fact that some students energy have been sapped a lot earlier, before the mass fainting. Leaving that information here, in case it might be of use.

That energy drain thing happened to some students earlier, too? Do you know when it started?

I didn't think it was a group of ayakashi after all. There were those weird cords... I thought the cube things might all be parts of one big one. Like arms and legs, kind of.

Well, he sure had a bunch of unusual books in his desk for a normal high school principal, and he was on the other end of all those ayakashi cords out in the yard.
