Is anybody else still thinking about what happened with that school? I never did manage to dig up much information about that new principal, and we defeated the ayakashi, but still....

Did anyone figure out where he was from? Or what he was really doing?

That seemed like some high-level magic for a public school administrator to be throwing around.

Yeah, I wonder what kinds of things they saw? I couldn't get any details from anybody except for the stuff about the curse, and that sounded like a normal school rumor.

Maybe caused by the teachers getting sick.

Who were they suspicious of? Do you know?

Maybe. It's worth noting that none of the students were affected by the curse, from what we can tell.

I couldn't get much details out of it but it sounded like some of the students were suspicious over the fact the teachers were being targeted. Enough to worry that it might affect them next.

Considering the students got targeted by the ayakashi, it's hard to say if they're completely wrong.

You mean, the one that made the teachers sick?

Since all the students got targeted by that soul sucking effect -- at least all the ones in the cafeteria, that's where I was -- I thought maybe somebody was trying to get the teachers out of the way. It could be that effect was aimed just at kids, or too many older mortals around would screw up the casting or something.

That's what I've been assuming. It wasn't a mass panic or anything but if I were a student, I would've been a bit weirded at the fact almost all the teachers were down with something.

Maybe. I'm not sure why the teachers being around would be an issue for the caster but even if that was the issue, the next question is why target the students at all. If it just wanted to drain energy, a better option would be to drain both the students and the teachers.

Assuming those charms didn't protect the teachers from that. But that's just speculation.

When I was looking around the faculty lounge, I found a few charms lying around.

They seemed like protection based ones, I think.

Were they on the desks of the teachers who were there that day? Or just around the room?

They were just around, I think. I couldn't tell who they belonged to exactly.

If we'd had more than a day I might've been able to figure out more.
