Is anybody else still thinking about what happened with that school? I never did manage to dig up much information about that new principal, and we defeated the ayakashi, but still....
Did anyone figure out where he was from? Or what he was really doing?
That seemed like some high-level magic for a public school administrator to be throwing around.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to find anything during my investigation. Aside from the fact that some students energy have been sapped a lot earlier, before the mass fainting. Leaving that information here, in case it might be of use.

I didn't think it was a group of ayakashi after all. There were those weird cords... I thought the cube things might all be parts of one big one. Like arms and legs, kind of.

When that announcement happened, that drain hit all students near the library.
I didn't get closer look at the cube thing so I missed the cord - I have to admit I wasn't much of use during fight, so I helped Slaine evacuate the unconscious students. But how you describe it, there is a possibility it was just one huge ayakashi. Frankly speaking, I think it's a relief, I assumed initially it was a very coordinated group of ayakashi. Which would mean enemy is capable of very dangerous maneuvers.

What I don't know is if he was controlling the ayakashi or if the ayakashi was controlling him. If it's the latter, everything should be okay now that it's been destroyed, but if he were using it, then he might just wind up summoning another one.
It sounds like maybe that spell was being practiced on some of the students before it was cast on everybody at once.

Humans can control and bind ayakashi by magic? It's starting to sound worse and worse with each tidbit uncovered.
There were rumors floating around about "curse of the principal" or something like that. But that mess was work of the new one, correct?

Everybody keeps asking about masks, but I didn't see a mask on the new principal or any of his ayakashi. Did you?

I wonder if we would've seen a mask if we could've followed all those cords back, though.

I still wonder whether the teachers were removed first on purpose to make students more vulnerable? But how could their presence or lack of it affect anything, really? They would be just as susceptible for that drain spell as any other residents of the Near Shore.
Maybe they started to suspect something?

I mean, I'm not a demon expert or anything, but I know some of them prefer innocent souls, for instance.

[ Probably one of the few times Genos is actually at loss of words. And text can't even convey how much revolted he feels by this. ]

[None of that kind of magic is nice. Most of it's horribly messed up.]
