Hello. This is Midoriya Izuku for those of you who don't know me well. I've been talking with a few people, and it seems that while newly minted gods often get somebody to guide them through their arrival, shinki aren't so lucky.

I think it would be good if we could compile a resource for newly arrived shinki. There's no reason they need to be so confused upon their arrival.

As I'm not a shinki, I don't know everything that should go into it. Could those who are please say what they would have liked to know earlier?

Then do you demand that your shinki unburden themselves to you regularly? Do you quiz them on their actions and desires and force them to share their innermost thoughts with you?

I won't make my partner do anything that makes him feel guilty. If it came up, we have a good enough relationship that we could talk about it.

I don't appreciate the tone you're taking with him.

What do you intend to do about it?

You have anonymity on your side.
He's answered your questions, and so has someone else. At this point, you're just twisting his responses around needlessly, which I'm not going to allow any further.
That means the most effective response to this is to end his conversation with you.

If it was me that you were irritating from the start, he'd do the same for me.
That's what partners do.

[ His annoyance is clear as day, as he sits there and replies regardless, letting Izuku settle. ]

I know I don't have to, Midoriya. But I am, because you're trying to help people as you always do, and having them harass you isn't something that sits with me.

[After years of Bakugou this isn't that bad. It's just some anon on the network.]

You and I both know we don't keep secrets from each other. That's what really matters.

[ If it was Bakugou he would... sort of also be doing this? He's just making it so that Izuku doesn't have to deal with this person anymore. ]

[ Surprise, your shinki/best friend/boyfriend is here to stand up for and support you in spades.

He blows out a stream of visible cold air, tilting his head to thunk it gently on top of Izuku's. ]

I did just say you'd do the same for me.

[Shouto doesn't remember Endeavor, but Izuku sure does.]

[ Someday he will, and a whole lot will make sense. ]

[It will, but it will also be painful.]

It's a promise.

[He'll brush his lips against Shouto's cheek.]

[ But Izuku will be there, so it'll be fine.

His eye scrunches a little, on the side Izuku kisses, but there's nothing but warmth across the god-shinki bond. ]

It's a promise from both of us. And it'll be binding. [ He's a little teasing, but he offers him his pinky regardless. ]

[He is so embarrassingly in love with this boy.

He links their pinkies together.]

Like all of ours.

[ Surprise, it was a trap.

Though Shouto means the pinky promise, and does regard it as binding, he leans in to kiss Izuku properly while he has him in such close proximity and unable to really go anywhere while their pinkies are linked. ]
