Hello. This is Midoriya Izuku for those of you who don't know me well. I've been talking with a few people, and it seems that while newly minted gods often get somebody to guide them through their arrival, shinki aren't so lucky.

I think it would be good if we could compile a resource for newly arrived shinki. There's no reason they need to be so confused upon their arrival.

As I'm not a shinki, I don't know everything that should go into it. Could those who are please say what they would have liked to know earlier?

[He is so embarrassingly in love with this boy.

He links their pinkies together.]

Like all of ours.

[ Surprise, it was a trap.

Though Shouto means the pinky promise, and does regard it as binding, he leans in to kiss Izuku properly while he has him in such close proximity and unable to really go anywhere while their pinkies are linked. ]

Seal the deal.

[Gasp!

No, his eyes slide closed as he shares the kiss, heartbeat thumping away. It's not like he would have gone anywhere anyway. He likes kissing Shouto, especially in the comfort of their home.]

Sealed.

... So this is how we're always going to make our promises?

[ Upon figuring out that Shouto liked kissing, he'd decided that he's going to take every opportunity to kiss Izuku. This was just a good opening for it, and he likes the way that Izuku reacts to them when he surprises him with them. ]

Mmm... [ A pause, for consideration.

And then, seriously: ] I think so.

[He laughs as he drops his phone, wrapping his arms around Shouto's shoulders.]

You can just kiss me if you want. It doesn't have to be for a promise.

[ Irritation forgotten, Shouto wraps his arms around him in return, bumping their heads together gently. ]

Then I will. [ Izuku has now set himself up for a lot of surprise PDA. ]

[Shouto is smiling. It's so soothing.]

It's a promise. [Mischievious, as he steals another kiss.]

[ He's happy. He doesn't remember everything, but he remembers Izuku, and that's enough for him.

Shouto lets out a little noise when he steals another kiss, but then he just returns it, eyes closing. ]

[Eventually, he has to pull away, but it's with such a wide grin on his face.]

Sealed!

[ He can't help it - Shouto laughs a little. It's a chuckle, admittedly, but a laugh regardless. ]

[As much as he's seen Shouto smile, he hasn't heard Shouto laugh like that.

So he's a little stunned.]

Y...You laughed!

[ He blinks back at him in response to his surprise, and while the smile on his face fades, the warmth over the bond doesn't. He just tilts his head. ]

I guess I did.

It was nice... You have a really nice laugh.

[ There's no blush, though Shouto does duck his head a little. ]

Well. [ A beat. ] It feels like I've got a reason to do it now, maybe.

[Oh... is that Shouto embarrassed? Because of him?

He's so cute...]

... I hope I get to hear you laugh a whole lot more. You deserve to.
