Hello, everyone. I've been working on lists for study groups, and references for them as well as investigative notes, but I wanted to pose a different offer this time. Hence, why this post will have attachments in the form of photos rather than text this time.

[ Follow his trek, everyone, through the kitchen and under the free standing stairs, to one of his numerous tatami rooms that lead outside on the first floor. He's immediately greeted by a chorus of meows and chirps, any sort of noise a cat might make when pleased at a person, and that's where he comes to a stop. ]

I've been picking up stray cats, as well as cats from the shelter that were having a hard time finding families, and have been working on socializing them. All of them are in good health at the moment, have had all their vaccines and the like, and are fixed - except one, but more on her in a moment. You see, I've been hoping to find them permanent homes, either here or on the other Shore. Pretty much all of the ones I have are currently ready for that, so I was wondering if there was anyone that was maybe considering a cat for a companion.

Anyone that isn't homed is going to go up for adoption to the other Shore, but I figured you all could have first dibs.

If you just want to come and see them, you can do that, too. The aforementioned special cat is actually a new mother, so there are newborn kittens here now.

[ This is when he turns the phone around, camera focused on the cats around his feet. That's the end of the video!

As mentioned, there are pictures attached. What these cats look like are up to dealer's choice, if they wanted to adopt one or coo over one in particular, and Souji literally has enough variety that any picture would do.

I have quite a few like that, since the shelter was having a hard time adopting them out. You can come by any time during the day if you'd like to check them out, see if there isn't a one, or a pair, that really sticks out to you.

I can understand it might be a bit hard, since a lot of people prefer only getting one.

Alright. Do you have any time in particular that suits better than others? Do you mind if I stay a little while so they get a chance to get at least a little used to me? It would be good to see if we’re any compatible, right?

It's understandable, but some animals wait a long time or are separated. I couldn't have that if I could help it.

I take prayers in the late afternoon and evening, usually, but there's almost always someone here at the temple if I'm not. And I trust them to show you to the cats, if that winds up being the case. But you're welcome to stay a while, especially since there's... [ He laughs, sheepish. ] Well, a lot of cats.

Yeah, it’s unfair to them. I hope all of them find homes.

Thanks. It’s better if I come sometime today rather than, like, next week right? So they won’t have to wait that long and stuff.

I've made a lot of progress in homing these ones, at least, so there's that at least.

But now or next week is fine, depending on how your schedule is. I've definitely got enough cats that there'll be a good number of them still here next week, before I take them over to the Near Shore to the cat cafe and the like.

[ It’ll take a little while to reach the more populated are of Far Shore, so he heads for the doors. It’ll take a few minutes to even reach the castle gate, anyway. ]

[ Because Souji has gotten used to giving directions to his temple by this point. So, attached, he's compiled a list of nearby temples and other identifiable landmarks, plus his distance from the Heavens' meeting hall and other locations. ]

Good. It can be kind of tricky, getting around the Far Shore. I just like making sure no one's going to get lost.

[ Because he's seen it happen plenty in other places, let alone this one. Knowing where you are at all times is one of the most important things he's learned. ]

Yeah, I get that. There should be official maps but considering they’d need to be updated way too often that’s not the easiest. Unless there’s some magic for that.
