Hello, everyone. I've been working on lists for study groups, and references for them as well as investigative notes, but I wanted to pose a different offer this time. Hence, why this post will have attachments in the form of photos rather than text this time.

[ Follow his trek, everyone, through the kitchen and under the free standing stairs, to one of his numerous tatami rooms that lead outside on the first floor. He's immediately greeted by a chorus of meows and chirps, any sort of noise a cat might make when pleased at a person, and that's where he comes to a stop. ]

I've been picking up stray cats, as well as cats from the shelter that were having a hard time finding families, and have been working on socializing them. All of them are in good health at the moment, have had all their vaccines and the like, and are fixed - except one, but more on her in a moment. You see, I've been hoping to find them permanent homes, either here or on the other Shore. Pretty much all of the ones I have are currently ready for that, so I was wondering if there was anyone that was maybe considering a cat for a companion.

Anyone that isn't homed is going to go up for adoption to the other Shore, but I figured you all could have first dibs.

If you just want to come and see them, you can do that, too. The aforementioned special cat is actually a new mother, so there are newborn kittens here now.

As mentioned, there are pictures attached. What these cats look like are up to dealer's choice, if they wanted to adopt one or coo over one in particular, and Souji literally has enough variety that any picture would do.

I have a bunch of black cats, kittens included.
There's even one that's kind of friends with an orange kitten. So you might have gotten lucky, if you'd like both of them.

These kittens in particular are a little young to be fixed, but they do have their shots.
If you want to bring them back when they're older, I can take you to the shelter I use for spaying and neutering, and pay for it to be done. It's not that expensive, but I figure since I fostered them I can do that.
They're typical kittens - figuring out their claws and teeth, and what they can get into that they shouldn't. So you shouldn't play with them with your fingers, or you're liable to get scratched up and make them think that your hands are their personal toys all the way into adulthood.

They'll have other kittens to play with, and there's toys around here.

Then they'll be just fine, I think.
Hands make them think they can attack your hands or feet and get attention, so dissuading that at a young age is for the best.

There are a number of things you can try. Gently spritzing them with water is something people endorse, but you can also shake something like a can full of coins or anything else that will rattle. The noise discourages them. Offering them other things to play with that won't simulate hair is a good way to encourage they stop, too. No feathers or string, but balls and mice.

I'm fine with that, too.

We got plenty of toys May ignores around here. I can get rid of the string and feather ones and it won't bug her. She's kinda lazy sometimes. Loves lasers.

Don't be shy in telling him to knock it off, though.

Does she have a particular time that she does it? Like when it's bedtime? You could try and tire her out beforehand with lasers, so that she sleeps while her usual victims are sleeping, in that case.

As long as it's not 4AM when you're sending them, I honestly can't complain about more cat pictures.
