Hello, everyone. I've been working on lists for study groups, and references for them as well as investigative notes, but I wanted to pose a different offer this time. Hence, why this post will have attachments in the form of photos rather than text this time.

[ Follow his trek, everyone, through the kitchen and under the free standing stairs, to one of his numerous tatami rooms that lead outside on the first floor. He's immediately greeted by a chorus of meows and chirps, any sort of noise a cat might make when pleased at a person, and that's where he comes to a stop. ]

I've been picking up stray cats, as well as cats from the shelter that were having a hard time finding families, and have been working on socializing them. All of them are in good health at the moment, have had all their vaccines and the like, and are fixed - except one, but more on her in a moment. You see, I've been hoping to find them permanent homes, either here or on the other Shore. Pretty much all of the ones I have are currently ready for that, so I was wondering if there was anyone that was maybe considering a cat for a companion.

Anyone that isn't homed is going to go up for adoption to the other Shore, but I figured you all could have first dibs.

If you just want to come and see them, you can do that, too. The aforementioned special cat is actually a new mother, so there are newborn kittens here now.

As mentioned, there are pictures attached. What these cats look like are up to dealer's choice, if they wanted to adopt one or coo over one in particular, and Souji literally has enough variety that any picture would do.

Hardly any gods or shinki still work there now, most of them have disappeared, and not that many come as customers either. But the less people who can bother me, the better.

Nanako said you had cats, but I wasn't expecting that many.

If I start coming by more often, once I get the numbers down, I promise I won't be one of the people to bother you.

I kept picking up the unwanted ones from the shelter without really meaning to, and that sometimes entailed getting the ones that could only be adopted out in pairs. But now they can find more permanent homes.

Good. I'd rather not deal with any more of the weird ideas the Near Shore employees get the times they actually remember I'm there.

Looking at this so far, I doubt you're going to have any trouble finding homes for even the paired ones. Cats seem to be popular.

Weird ideas... They do realize that they're there to work, right?

I can't say I'm shocked, but I am a little pleasantly surprised. I didn't realize *this* many people would respond. But the more that get to find homes, the better, and I'm glad.

Obviously not. I do more work than they do and I don't even interact with the customers. [But maintaining a cafe's worth of cats isn't exactly a small undertaking.]

I'm surprised more haven't. I know plenty of the kinds of people who usually wail unnecessarily over things they think are "cute".

That's unfortunate. And certainly frustrating. They have responsibilities, being employees, that they should be focusing on more than whatever it is they get up to. And instead of leaving a lot of the work to you.

I did get one interesting message along those lines, but for the most part everyone's pretty calm about the whole thing. Can't complain, though they are certainly cute.

I don't really care about getting the bulk of the work, since it keeps me away from customers. But the rest of it is annoying.

I wouldn't call it "calm", but at least they're not making as big a fuss as they could be.

Not necessarily the best tradeoff. I guess there's not a lot to be done about it, either, if it's more than one employee.

I've seen worse than this, really, especially on the BBS here. It's a some measure of calm.

Not really. At least by now only the new hires are stupid enough to try and approach me.

I've seen worse as well, but a lot of this still seems like overreaction.

I take it they learn pretty quickly to leave you alone?

Sometimes people are excitable, and far be it that I tell them to be otherwise, so long as it's not causing problems. Especially if it means these guys can find happy homes.

Most of them.

I suppose if it gets the cats adopted, it's productive enough.
