a question for shinki... and gods too, i guess. i dont know if this has been asked already... i rarely look at this thing so i wouldnt know. but im curious: what makes your god trustworthy? is it how they present themselves, or what they do as an individual? what made you realize that being their shinki wasn't an issue, even if you had no choice in the matter?
if youre a god reading this... how would you go about earning a shinkis trust?

for behavioral pattern.... he's a busybody. its nothing that warrants mistrust, and i know he means well but... it gets annoying fast sometimes. but if there was something that really made me uncomfortable, itd be that he never really asked if i wanted to or if id be okay with being his shinki.
... ive yet to see this power, though.
[ he's not even going to address whether Makoto trusts him or not... that's practically uncertain at this point. ironic that this person mentioned "personal argument" too...... it's like he knows. ] ... i dont think that will really do anything, but i guess i can give it a try

I don't think many of us had much of a choice in the matter. I would have never chosen my god to wield me because he has not a clue about fighting anything. But I have seen what happened to shinki that go unclaimed. They have no direction, their minds start to wander, and eventually they fall.
And if you have yet to see your god's power, he either uses it very rationally or he has no idea what he's doing. Mine, personally, is the latter.
In the end, you're both just trying to make heads or tails of the situation we've all been thrown into.

unclaimed... what do you mean by fall? do you mean they become ayakashi?
my god... he's definitely the latter too. though i think hes trying to learn more about them... he does talk about training with his sensei from time to time.
... right. but that doesnt make it less annoying.

The finite details of that matter belong to my god, I'm afraid. But I had to deal with the ayakashi myself.
I've had a bit of training with my god as well. So yes, all we can ask is for them to at least try.
And yes, while it is irksome, it's necessary growing pains.

... so you destroyed it?
[ try... ]
... i'll keep that in mind then.

Do what you will with my advice. I normally don't hand it out.

... lucky me. [ can to hear the sarcasm dripping there? ]

Lucky you indeed.
[He's fluent in sarcasm, so it's easy to ignore.]
