I seem to have a pawblem. A friend of mine is missing. 
His name is Spots and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Like the poster says, please assist if you can.  The sooner we find him the better. 

He gets temperamental when he's hungry :( 

Of course, I'll hand out a purrfect reward to the person who contributes the most.

Have you tried shouting into the world how much you love and miss him yet and see if he hears it and comes back to you?!

Actually, no I haven't.

[ Thank you for not pointing out all the cat puns, Minako. There are more pressing issue at hand here. Ren takes a few minutes to reply back. He's still searching for the kitty!! ]

Honestly. What a less-than-useless specimen....

[ So she says, but unseen since this is a text conversation, she's picking up her tablet from where she'd left it on the coffee table and pulling up a certain app. And now, from Apollo's temple in the Central District, about a dozen small stuffed purple goat toys on wheeled platforms roll out, camera eyes whirring, as about a dozen separate video feeds pop up on Hibiki's screen.

Hibiki sprawls on her couch, propping up one leg. Is no one competent in this puniverse but she?

Her own cat, Lady Rosalie François Charlotte Antoinette Shikyoin the First, crouches behind the couch. It has been a whole half hour since she last had food. Soon, surely, the large servant will realize it is time for more. ]

[ Some people might consider the very idea ridiculous.

But Minako did suggest it with 100% seriousness. And who is she to ever turn down a social invite, let alone from a protagonist a fellow cat lover? ]

Of course, we can't leave poor Spots to wander around alone! Just tell me where I have to be and I'll be there.

Sorry I should have been more careful. Spots doesn't exactly trust me yet.

[ Oh? That kitten looks like she's in high spirits. Ren can only hope that Spots is doing his best somewhere.

He pours himself a glass of coffee before sending out more replies. It'll give him the energy he needs to search more.]

I love Spots. I'll need to prove my affection.

[ Ren's starting to run out of options. He eventually figures that he's got nothing to lose by trying it out.

In Minako's messages she'll find one photo of Ren standing there with Spots. It's just a glorified selfie wow. ]

We'll find him together. Come meet me at Central District later in the afternoon.

Alright!! I'll be there!

[ It's only after sending that much that she opens the photo. And that's when it hits her. Oh no. Lost cat owner guy is cute. Cute in that kind of nerdy way, but cute all the same.

Which means she's definitely relieved they didn't say they'd meet up right then, since she's going to have to pick an appropriate cute outfit to meet said cute guy in. And one which won't make her freeze up in this weather. Does that mean she's going to wear the cat ear beanie to suit the occasion? Of course.

And when she heads to the Central District later on, Minako just dashes over to Ren the moment she notices him. Incredibly high-spirited, this one. ]

Here I am! Cat finder extraordinaire Minako reporting for duty!

I'll leave some food and water out.

Is there a toy he likes or something he sleeps on with his scent? You could leave it out in a carrier with some food and that might draw him in.

[ Ren's even more of a nerd in person. He straightens himself up and adjusts the ends of his glasses. Oh.

Minako's wearing a cat ear beanie suit. It leaves him at a loss of words for a moment. He didn't expect this.]

Meow?

[ That type of response is the only thing you'd hear from a sad cat owner. This is the guy alright. Minako's at the right place.]

I'll come by and drop some of his things over.

He's got a few toys.

The plastic truck is his favorite. It makes a strange noise whenever it's on.

Hold on, wouldn't you have a better idea of where to put stuff so he can find it?

[ Hm? Oh, it's broadcasting. He can see Rosalie.

He gets a much better view of Rosalie when that young lady decides that if Hibiki is going to be horizontal, she needs to stand right next to where Hibiki is lying down and stare up with big green eyes (and very expressive lashes). And demand attention. MEOW.

Hibiki, meanwhile, is finishing up her reply. ]

As the ultimate example of godliness, only I am suitable to raise the ultimate example of felinity.

[ Raising an obedient cat sounds hard. Ren finds himself fidgeting with his hair.]

Did you teach them tricks ?

[ Probably. He's got no idea really.]

No, though I had a dog. Seems like the cat owners are in higher numbers around here.

[ He's got no idea what's going on over there. For a brief moment Ren looks oblivious. So.....all that meowing's telling them both something. ]

[It's time to communicate like a cat and see if that accomplishes anything. ]

[ Now everyone is meowing! Why?! ]

[ She'll return, probably, since the conversation had been about how awesome she is, and Hibiki tends to linger for such topics. But first she must convince Rosalie to explain her grievance more clearly!

WHAT DOES "MEOW" MEAN?!

The phone gets bumped to an audio feed, so Ren can hear scuffling, more meowing, and the setting down of a large tower of pillows. Then a thud as Rosalie swats it over. Not a bed! FOOD!

This cat owner may mean well, but only think she's got it all figured out. ]
