[Suddenly this image appears on your network feed. It's a cry for help. ]

I seem to have a pawblem. A friend of mine is missing. 
His name is Spots and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Like the poster says, please assist if you can.  The sooner we find him the better. 

He gets temperamental when he's hungry :( 

Of course, I'll hand out a purrfect reward to the person who contributes the most.

[ Now everyone is meowing! Why?! ]

Excuse me.

[ She'll return, probably, since the conversation had been about how awesome she is, and Hibiki tends to linger for such topics. But first she must convince Rosalie to explain her grievance more clearly!

WHAT DOES "MEOW" MEAN?!

The phone gets bumped to an audio feed, so Ren can hear scuffling, more meowing, and the setting down of a large tower of pillows. Then a thud as Rosalie swats it over. Not a bed! FOOD!

This cat owner may mean well, but only think she's got it all figured out. ]

[ It's fun to Meow and somehow it seems more productive than trying to communicate with a cat using the human language. ]

Sounds like trouble.

[ So he's figured it out but there's little he can do to help. Hibiki's certainly got her hands full.]

We've got a purroblem.

[ Hibiki stops whatever it was she was doing, which works out for Rosalie. Now she can climb up Hibiki and yell in her ear. MEOW. ]

....Multiple cat-chphrase users.

[ Hibiki's chin draws in at that, the weariness evident in her deep voice, as well. ] Two too many.

[ Catchphrases aren't sentence enders, fortunately. Neither are puns. So Hibiki should be safe from being showered in them, and losing her inner tranquil grandeur.

She reaches to scratch Rosalie's neck. The silky, luxurious quality of her cat's fur will calm her down. ] No matter how abspurrd, or unnyacessary, or pawkward--

[ Rosalie lets out a disturbed myowr. Instead of feeding her, the tall servant just twitched! ]

It's pawkward, but amusing nonetheless.

[Ren scratches his side, feeling like laughing because Hibiki made all those cat puns. Oh no.]

Purrhaps it's time for a change. From now on we'll only talk like cats.

...I'm beginning to see why Spots absconded.

[ She checks her tablet, though. Have any of her spies located him yet? It's a shame to have to reunite him with such an unfitting master, but an unattended Celebrity is a worse offense.

Rosalie keeps pawing the touchscreen, though, which makes this checkup...clawmplicated. ]

Meowybe he went for a walk. He might be okay.

[Ren looks down, feeling worried anyways. He loves kitties! So hopefully they'll love him back.]

I believe in him.

[ That is all Hibiki has to say on the subject. "Meowbe" was a heavy blow.

So. Spots. Where might you be? ]

That was a loud growl.

[ Spots isn't too hard to spot! He just went out for a little walk and got lost on the way back because he's smart.

He should be trying to punt a butterfly nearby. Ren's still poking around for the cat. ]

[ She's rapidly running out of words worth bestowing on this person.

Fortunately, a small stuffed goat toy with cameras for eyes rolls up to Spots to see what he's up to. Hello...? ]

[ Spots runs up to the person closest to him and gives them a good whiff.

Meow?

Kitty's lost and confused. Help. ]

[ Unfortunately for Spots, the only "person" physically in the area is this stuffed robot goat, which whirs in a friendly way upon being sniffed. It is pleased to make Spots's acquaintance! Also, home base, target located.

Back in Hibiki's temple, she observes this via a video feed the goatbot is broadcasting, and sends the next order: bring to temple.

The goat turns in a circle, now pointing in the other direction, and revs playfully. Want to come this way?

Hibiki, still on the line with Ren, has fallen Suspiciously Silent. ]

...Are you okay?

[The silence can only go on for so long. He speaks up once a considerable amount of time has passed. Maybe they haven't made much progress at all. Spots starts playing off on his own. He is a dumb cat. ]

[priforprince]

You're at your temple, correct?

[ Ugh. Hibiki gets up off the couch. She's going to have to go fetch that cat herself, isn't she.

This pet deserves its master. ]

Yeah, I'm there. It's in southern district.

[It'd be nice if she could get the cat before ayakashi get to it first. ]

I'll come meet up with you.

Move quickly.

[ Hibiki rises to go get the cat. Hopefully the goat that's filming Spots will be able to keep track of him until she can get there.

Rosalie, curious, tags along. Food? ]

[Ren shows up with panting breath. He's tired. He ran fast as he could.]

I'm here.

[Please give him two seconds to rest before he dies first. \

[ ....He actually listened. Someone. Actually listened, in the Far Shore, when she told them to do something in a hurry.

Perhaps she will reassess her opinion of him.

Hibiki tilts her head towards the purple stuffed goat - and the cat beyond it. ] Your quarry is absorbed over there.

[ Rosalie pads over to see what has so enamored Spots. Oh! That....That looks like a good thing to stare at. She will stare at it too. ]
