[It is after a great deal of trial and error that a video feed pops up on the network. Zelda's grasp on modern technology is still limited at best, but this is apparently important enough to try.]

Excuse me, but would anyone happen to know what this is for?

["This" being a very summer-y hawaiian shirt currently laid out upon what appears to be her dining room table. And there will be no reprieve from it's tourist-y glow for anyone wanting it; the Princess of Hyrule does not know you can flip the camera around on a phone, so the feed is sticking right where it is on the garment as she speaks.]

It was at my temple steps this morning, but without any notes outside of being addressed to me. I am... not certain what to make of it, honestly.

What a odd shirt...those flowers are right pretty, though. Ah wonder what they are.

It exists for the express purpose of being unfashionable, I guess.

I mean, there's a longer story than that, but... that's a little hard on the eyes...

I also found a package addressed to me with a shirt in it!

I got one too, though it's even stupider than that one.

[The only reason it's so far escaped just being set on fire is that Shun is loath to waste resources, even if they're incredibly stupid ones, so he's left it alone on the off chance someone else in the temple wants to claim it before he sets it on fire.]

If you know anyone who has bad taste and can't take a hint, it's probably them.

It's clothes! So it'd be for wearing! [ Though she can probably figure that bit out.. ] I have several similar shirts myself, they're great!

And I'm not here to dictate your fashion choices or tell you what to do, but, uh, please don't wear it.

Such garments evolved from tropical souvernirs and are loved by teenagers and those who love bright colors. I advise you to use it for some purpose other than intended.

[a pause and he smirks.]

It's nicer than the one I got, though.

[There's a contemplative hum in the background as Zelda considers this.]

Hmm, yes, I could see that. Certainly it would get more use that way. [She... doesn't think she'll be wearing this.] Unfortunately my sewing skills are limited to stitching up holes in clothes and such, and I am not very good at that, either, so.

[It would unravel in a day.]

It is... quite bright, is it not.

[Rhetorical question, of course.]

I will be the first to admit I am not very familiar with the fashion trends of this world, but I suppose there will always be those who favor the bold and garish regardless. ... I have not yet seen very many wearing this particular style on the Near Shore, though.

[The emerald haired girl smiles.]

Well, if ya end up wantin' to do that, Ah can do it for ya. Been sewin' my whole life. Shouldn't take long, neither. Jus' gotta get some fluff for inside it.

[Oh no, text. Zelda isn't entirely certain how to switch between modes on the network yet, so she sounds a little uncertain and preoccupied when she responds.]

I do not suppose you have any idea as to why we received these garments either, then?

It seems quite a few of us have received these... gifts.

[Hrrgh, the buttons on her phone are so tiny, and figuring out how texting works is hard. Please enjoy the view of The Shirt as she futzes around with her phone.]

Though I have several acquaintances those descriptors could apply to, so it only narrows things down a little.

I was not intending to. I do not know much about the fashion trends of this world, but I can say with certainty that this is one that does not match my own personal taste.

[Her own personal taste is amorphous and barely formed but she knows it's not that.]

They're more popular in the West, is my understanding. [But admittedly, this is not really her area of expertise.]

....I have my suspicions.

List a couple off the top of your head and I can tell you if I know them as well. Might narrow it down more.
