I've got a question! Since there's a lot of different gods, am I supposed to treat the ones from the religion my god is from like family? And does anyone else have animals like deer or anything else at their temples?

Oh, and does anyone know how to put a blessing on objects? My shinki can't come inside the temple, and I don't think he likes sleeping in a tent too much.

If you need to ask that...isn't that your answer? You're Artemis, but you're also still you, right? I think there must be a reason for that to be so.

I got the impression there are people who have been here longer.

It's still weird being a goddess who has a huge family in mythology. I don't have a family, so that's why I was curious about it.

[No family in the traditional sense.]

I met a few people that have been here weeks longer than me. Some of them aren't that chatty.

I think... In that case, family isn't assigned to you. It's the people you become close to, and care about, that become your family.

Maybe someone else will be more helpful, since you're asking on a public forum.

Is it okay to make a new family if you left your other 'family' behind then?

I hope so. I feel really bad for Raichi.

I've never heard of a limit to the number of people you can care about. So I don't think you have to worry about something like that.

There must be something that would help... Where is your temple, anyway?

Do you tell people they're your family then? What if they don't want to be?

It's in a forest. If you see silver deer with gold antlers, you're close! Just don't hurt them.

If it were me... I guess I'd focus on looking out for them, and being there for them. Whether those feelings were returned wouldn't be as important.

[Ah...well, he'd like if such sentiments were returned, but he's not openly admitting such a thing, and isn't entirely self-aware with regards to it]

My temple is in a wooded area, too. Can you see any red foliage from your place?

I think they were returned with my last family. Hane always looked out for me, and Linos fussed. Aqua, too. Jigu was more of one of those big brother types. And the Sora there, not the same Sora from here, kept calling me his twin.

[Such a big family.]

I can't really see anything from my temple. The woods are really, really thick. There's only a big gap in the canopy, and where the path to and from my temple is.

I guess Sora is a pretty popular name, after all. Those sound like some nice people.

That dense... I wonder if our temples are anywhere near each other or not, but it'd be hard to tell without distinguishing landmarks.

They were! I think they'd like it here.

There's statues of hunting dogs and deer in the woods around my temple. Would that help?

Are they visible over the foliage? I might be able to spot them, if they are.

Maybe. I just want them to go back to their own homes if they can.

I can see them when I leave the temple grounds. They're not really small.

The place was run by the Witch. I don't know if I helped pay off Sora's debt or not.

[It's not like he's in a position to say that sounds too fantastical to be true, considering...they're apparently gods now.

Still, it really does sound like it comes from a storybook]

[Isn't that the name of a place in some animated film...? It sure sounds familiar, but Kaneki supposes he'll just keep that musing to himself.

A good five minutes later, he finally replies]

I think I see them... So you're probably not that far away from me. My temple is just a ways west of yours.

I can't see anything but trees from my roof.

Let me try coming over there, just to be sure...

[He'll just pop right up at the gate, jolt as little because he's far from accustomed to this ability, and look around.

[Roxas already decided before the note was sent to run at high speed to his gate. He skids right before it, hopping a couple of times, before coming to a complete stop. At least he didn't fall this time... Stopping needs more practice.

He looks up at the young man at the gate.]

They're pretty scary, right?

You mean the statues...? They're pretty big...

[Kaneki tips his head back to get a good look at them, and...they're certainly looming. He hasn't seen something quite like them outside of books, but from that he recognizes the style.

Based on which god the guy said he was, they seem appropriate.

Bringing his attention back to present company, he lifts a hand to wave]

It looks like we're neighbors after all.

They've got wards on them. They come to life and chase away anyone that wants to hurt me while I'm home.

[But what would happen if they got in while he wasn't? Roxas will get back to that question later. For now he's got a guest!

He gives his new neighbor a smile.]

That's great. I'm Roxas!

[Guard-statues... Kaneki never would've imagined. Then again, there's so much of this that he wouldn't imagine]
