I've got a question! Since there's a lot of different gods, am I supposed to treat the ones from the religion my god is from like family? And does anyone else have animals like deer or anything else at their temples?

Oh, and does anyone know how to put a blessing on objects? My shinki can't come inside the temple, and I don't think he likes sleeping in a tent too much.

I've never seen them move... but there is a you can feel eyes on you at all times type thing.

[Roxas is happy about the guard-statues. After having no way of really keeping himself and others safe most of the time in Koriko, this was at least one guaranteed way of keeping himself alive.

When Kaneki bows, so does Roxas. Habit.]

He's still not the best at pretending to stomach things that taste like death to him. Not to mention the urge to describe how horrible the experience in florid detail remains strong]

Since I'm close by... if you and your shinki want to use my temple too, while you're sorting things out, you could.

Really? Raichi would like that a lot. I don't know where he ran off to... but I can tell him when he gets home. I'll bring him food since he eats a lot.

[Fortunately his manpain levels about this very thing are sufficient for him to tamp down on it aggressively. Not to mention the Heavens apparently supply him with weekly mystery meat...

He's going to need to carefully store that so there aren't any unfortunate meal mishaps. Maybe he'll keep a fridge in his room]

She's um...sort of...vacant?

[Kaneki doesn't want to speak poorly of her, and the hesitance is very apparent, but...she feels like a side-character in an anime. Always serene and demure and very little else.

He sure tried to engage her in conversation but it didn't get very far. If only he knew this was a soulless shinki thing and not some personal issue]

... so she's soulless. I had one of those for a little while until Raichi showed up. I don't know where the soulless one went.

Yeah. Some people get shinki that are just... bodies that do stuff. It's weird, and I don't like it.

[It was rough when he tried to do anything with his shinki and it just stood there and stared.]

I didn't even name mine. I just let it be where it was.

You can treat Hana any way you want to.

She's sort of... Even if she's that way, I think I'd rather treat her like a person.

[He can't argue with somebody else's choice of how to regard shinki, but he does know he's not comfortable treating her like a thing]

Then treat her like a person, but if you get a real shinki, she might disappear unless you don't want her to.

[They do come from very different backgrounds, so it's no surprise.]

[Kaneki's not really used to having guests, and it'll surely show whenever they do stop by, but it seems the right thing to be hospitable and help out]
