This is Genos. Shinki to slavic god of hospitality, Radegast. If possible, I request assistance from those more experienced in workings of the Far Shore.
Today I've returned to my god's temple, with an uninvited guest.

[ A short video attachment, shows Genos chin down, with his shirt rolled high up, almost to the collarbone. That's it if he even had visible collarbones. The hatch on his chest is open, and in the cavity, among all the machinery, right next to the glowing blue orb, lies a kitten. Fur disheveled, and it seems to have hurt leg, but aside from that it's a normal, albeit homeless, kitten. It wakes up, blinks owlishly to the camera, yawns, and goes back to sleep, snuggling comfortably. ]
Should I assume I've been interacting with a ghost-cat from the start? It could see me, and tried to make me pay attention to it. Which is unlikely other inhabitants of the Near Shore.
However if it's not a ghost, would the travel to the Far Shore hurt it? Is there any official protocol on giving a temporary shelter to such Near Shore creatures?

I guess two? Maybe tree. Depends on size of the cats.

Animals seem to be able to see us without any difficulty based on my experiments, [read: petting random cats until some asshole living person walks over and gets in his way] so it's likely just a normal cat. Transportation to the Far Shore doesn't seem to affect them negatively. There's a cat currently dwelling in Chang'e's temple as well.

Rest assured. This particular stray is in no danger, neither it poses a risk of overheating for me.
no subject
Anyway, wouldn't it be fitting for the god of hospitality to offer shelter to a stray? But if you don't want it, I'll gladly take it off your hands.
no subject
And you got it all wrong. I do not intend to let it go, at least until it heals and can fend for itself. But I do think it would be good to know if prolonged exposure to the Far Shore could bring it any harm.
[ He will teach the cat self-defense, yes. Catnapper training the cat. ]

You'd have to ask someone with more experience, then. Short term exposure doesn't seem to have an effect, but you're right that it would be a good thing to know. Tell me if you find anything about it.
[He'd be pretty upset if something happened to May because she stayed in their temple too long... even if it would be 100% Ludger's fault, of course.]

It seems fine and responds to movement and seems to have... intact healthy living processes. [ and by that he means it peed on his bed ]

If there are side-effects, it could take days or weeks before any changes become apparent. Be sure to keep an eye on it and record any observations.
no subject
I always takes notes, so you can be sure of that. This is my responsibility. I am not allowing any harm to happen to that cat.
no subject
Good. I'll hold you to that, kek.
Are you going to name it, or will you just continue to call it "that cat"?
no subject
But I was also told to not name it by my god. [ Which is double weird, since he came up with a name soon after! ]
no subject
You should give it a more ferocious name, something to strike fear into its adversaries so they know who's in charge... like Calamity, or Scourge. [Bad news, Genos, Add's taste in naming is also terrible. Have some 3edgy4u suggestions.]

[ somebody, stop them.. ]

Ah, but if something composed of two words such as Shadowclaw works, then that opens up a much larger variety of options. A poll might be a good idea after all.
no subject
[ Why you had to be so creative, Add ]
no subject
Maybe! We could set up multiple polls or a poll allowing multiple options with each option being a single word. After those polls have closed, we would take the top 5 to 10 words and combine them, then hold a second vote to choose which combination is superior. If the combinations are still too many, we could hold them in rounds and narrow down the final pool of names each time until we have a more reasonable selection to choose from, having passed through multiple tests of quality to ensure that only the best names proceed to the very end. What do you think?
no subject
I like how you think. The quality control seems especially on point, given the situation.
no subject
How many names have you collected so far?
no subject
Bakeneko no Neko
Nekomata no Neko
Noir
Calamity
Raze
Marauder
Decimation
Shadowclaw
Interceptor
Devourer
Regent
Conqueror
[ half of them are by Add, omg ]
