Good afternoon, everyone. Please excuse my change of name: this is Cho Hakkai.

I appear to have reappeared. Although I don't want to give undue hope to anyone who's recently lost a god or shinki, I'd like to announce that my classes will be continuing as usual.

To those who were living upstairs at the school the past few days, I expect you to help me clean up the mess. You know who you are.

[There are animal cracker crumbs everywhere.

And apart from that he's just not going to mention the events of last few days. At least he wasn't an actual child, but....]

Does anyone have an idea what might have caused it? I'm certain I felt something in the air for a few hours before it happened.

Guess I haven't learned that much yet.

I met lots of people though. I mean I could get to know them all over again, but I'd rather not forget anymore.

[ He just made those memories. For him, it's all that he has now. It scared him a little, realizing how he almost forgot again. He wonders if that's how Hakkai felt when he turned into a god. Maybe Goku can become a god one day, so he can find out... ]

Mostly, they are! Although I may have to be careful not to tease them too much if I want them to stay that way.

Of all the memories I've made here, I think it would be the people that I'd regret forgetting the most.

Yes, I did! It's quite nice, although it's a little too big for three people.

Li must have had quite a few shinki, if he lived here before I did.

My house is real big, too. It's like a castle I think.

Who's Li?

A castle? My goodness. Who's your god?

Li is the god whose job I'm doing for the moment.

His name's Ren! His god name is Nana...I think

What kind of job do you have to do?

[That is a good choice. Ren's not one to shy from combat, or from combat-loving shinki, and he has a sharp mind and a strong sense of loyalty.

He won't betray Goku like the god he had once would.]

Why, that's good to hear. He was the god of a friend of mine some time ago. And I'm a teacher.

Yeah, that's what I meant!

[ Though hmm. Ren didn't really get on well with his previous shinki. That was a friend of Hakkai's? It seems a little rude to mention, but he's still very curious about. ]

Who's your friend? [ Nosy nosy. ]

What do you teach?

Hibari Kyouya. I'm afraid he was somewhat troublesome for Ren, but he's not an easy person to get along with at the best of times.

Mostly, math and reading.

Are you his god now?

Oh no, he had a new god long before I became one myself.

I do enjoy teaching. In fact, if you'd like to brush up your academics, there's always room in the classes, Goku.

I don't know how much I know, but I'll come by to check it out?

[Conveniently, he has a good idea of where Goku's math skills are.]

I've been thinking of starting some practice sessions for shinki there, too. Since there are a number of shinki powers that none of us have any experience with when we first arrive.

Powers? That sounds cool. I still haven't really figured out all the shinki stuff, yet. The line thing, a little.

There are more than just that, but you'll certainly want to spend time practicing your borderline first. It's your best protection if you're away from your god.

I like having a partner and all, but it's probably good to be strong on your own, too.

It is. I'm sure, if you work hard, you'll be very strong indeed.

How strong are you?

I'm fairly strong. But I don't like to brag, so instead, if you'd like to spar sometime...?

Yeah! I'm free whenever.
