Good afternoon, everyone. Please excuse my change of name: this is Cho Hakkai.
I appear to have reappeared. Although I don't want to give undue hope to anyone who's recently lost a god or shinki, I'd like to announce that my classes will be continuing as usual.
To those who were living upstairs at the school the past few days, I expect you to help me clean up the mess. You know who you are.
[There are animal cracker crumbs everywhere.
And apart from that he's just not going to mention the events of last few days. At least he wasn't an actual child, but....]
Does anyone have an idea what might have caused it? I'm certain I felt something in the air for a few hours before it happened.

That's a great deal of effort and power to use just for a distraction.

its just my gut that says this is someones work
i cant give reliable reasons or clues that point to it being that way.
[ He did admit to probably not being the 'book type' when they had first met. Somehow Shizuo demoted himself even further. ]

Of course, it can also be based on bad assumptions, which is why it's important to question a gut feeling before you act.
[Not that it's necessarily bad to be honest about your strengths, of course.]

it just doesnt seem right if its random through natural or accidental means. between that and other shit before it happened
[ Strength is something else- he's just honest about his weaknesses. Though Hakkai probably has the best experience with Shizuo's intuition-based assumptions. ]

["Something strange just when new arrivals appear," after all....]

[ Which turns out to be the case this time as well. It's why he had tried warning some of the new arrivals during Tanabata. ]

[ Which he knows about mostly because he's been paranoid that this would hit someone he knew. Like Yona. ]

[Murder is one thing -- and those murders, from what he's heard so far, have been rather individual and selective.
They're not widespread ayakashi releases, or shambling corpses. Which makes him consider the festival a quiet time by comparison.]

[ And then the ones that were found out about today. ]

maybe because its just that busy or something

[He knows where all those abandoned temples he marked are, after all, and he can follow the sound of crashing, yelling and gunfire.]

[ Though the not-so-subtle hint of 'please stop by the school sometime relatively soon' was received. ]

[ He knows that it's not reasonable to just drop by to pass on this information, or whatever else Hakkai wanted to know. There are classes the guy runs. ]

[He's tempted to ask... but no, maybe later. Not, in any case, on the network.]
