Good afternoon, everyone. Please excuse my change of name: this is Cho Hakkai.

I appear to have reappeared. Although I don't want to give undue hope to anyone who's recently lost a god or shinki, I'd like to announce that my classes will be continuing as usual.

To those who were living upstairs at the school the past few days, I expect you to help me clean up the mess. You know who you are.

[There are animal cracker crumbs everywhere.

And apart from that he's just not going to mention the events of last few days. At least he wasn't an actual child, but....]

Does anyone have an idea what might have caused it? I'm certain I felt something in the air for a few hours before it happened.

Oh, I'm sure it'll be no problem! Goten, fighting isn't all you need to know how to do, you realize.

I know but reading isn't going to help me with ayakashi or anything.

Fighting is way more fun. I don't get why you and Gonou care so much about it...

What if you wanted to read about a new spell? Or how to make plans to fight a war?

Strength isn't everything!

I've learned three spells without reading and i donno about the plans for fighting a war.... I like fighting myself not telling other people what to do...

[That makes sense right? He's starting to get the feeling he's not going to get out of this. How do you argue against Hakkai?]

Even if you're the only one fighting, being able to make plans can help you to win a battle that you couldn't win if you ran in head-on.

[Goten goes quiet for a moment, thinking]

....How would you get around someone that can make it so you can't move?

Why don't we research that together?

[And not air any possible strategies out loud on the network. There are multiple answers for this.]

[Goten forgets how public these things are. How do you even make things private?]

[He still isn't sure about this but between Hakkai, Sharak and Izumo...maybe he could give it a try. If Hakkai can help him beat Loki and he can teach Sharak something, then it won't be so bad.]

Learning new things is an important part of growing up, Goten. Reading will help you do that.

Of course, and there's plenty you can't learn from books. [She's not a total nerd. Sorry, Hakkai.] But there's plenty you can learn from them.

Besides, if you learn with Hakkai, we can read together as well.

Are you going to learn at the school too, Sharak?

[He's curious about that but that second part does make him perk up a little bit]

[He perfers her doing the reading because surely Sharak is one of the best people to read stories but she probably has a lot of cool stories of her own]

Not everything, just most things. Maybe you can find something I don't know in a book with Hakkai.

Perhaps reading to him is the key to making friends with Onidori.

[The other chickens will probably appreciate it more than being chased around the hill.]

[When he wants to, he can put full effort into anything. But Sharak does have him the most excited about this so far.
