Hello. This is Midoriya Izuku for those of you who don't know me well. I've been talking with a few people, and it seems that while newly minted gods often get somebody to guide them through their arrival, shinki aren't so lucky.

I think it would be good if we could compile a resource for newly arrived shinki. There's no reason they need to be so confused upon their arrival.

As I'm not a shinki, I don't know everything that should go into it. Could those who are please say what they would have liked to know earlier?

How did you pick your god?

He was alone and bleeding out. No one was there to help him.

[Ran isn't the type to drill into the BBS, so he doesn't even try to make it private.]

It's his god power. It makes him bleed, but it doesn't help him heal from it. I spent almost two weeks making sure he didn't... Succumb to it.

I'm glad you were there for him. It sounds like you have a good relationship at least.

I don't know about a good relationship, but it's... something I chose at least. I was told I wouldn't get long to make that decision, though. So at the time... he seemed like someone I wouldn't be upset working alongside.

Right.

It's unfair that the Heavens seem to assign shinki at random to gods. But at least you can make a decision, even as hurried as it seems to need to be.

That's another thing, though.
I don't have any problem speaking my mind. Who knows why. Not everyone does, let alone shinki. They should have someone to talk to about switching gods if they want - if just to figure out how to ask about it, or figure out why they're not getting along. Maybe they can patch things up, maybe they can't.

So you're suggesting god and shinki counseling sessions?

I guess? I don't know what counseling sessions are, though.

It's when you get a third party mediator to listen to your disputes and help you try to settle them.

... Weird. That sounds like a broker or matchmaker. What disputes are so important you need some other person helping you out unless it's like... settling a war?

Sometimes people have trouble dealing with each other and need to have somebody else talk it over.
