[After making sure that Hibiki is otherwise preoccupied for.... reasons, Wendy takes to the network. Her childish face is clearly strained as she tries to keep a hold of some composure. But this has been bugging her for a while now, and she can't hold back.]

Okay, how many people here really believe that a shinki going nora is some sort of huge sin or personal failing? Relatedly, how stupid are you?

And not related at all, does anyone have any good curses or insults?

That's something I don't get though! When people who don't like noras and stuff get worked up about it, they call it a huge sin and stuff, like what you said. But a shinki can't become a nora if the god they ask doesn't want to make them into one, right?

I dunno, I just don't think it's fair that shinki get all the blame... [It was bad enough that they were all dead already, in her mind.]

There shouldn't be any blame to get at all. Shinki don't have anything starting out, and it's hard to get things because normal people don't see us... Relying on gods is what's best for us...

...Or at least, what's easiest.

Easiest... [Once she heard it put that way, it got her thinking about thinks that she had never really considered before. The life--or lack thereof, technically--of a shinki was lonely in a way, wasn't it?]

Do you know what happens to shinki who don't want to rely on gods? I don't think I've seen any that stay away from gods on purpose, so I don't know.

From what I hear, a shinki without a god gets eaten by an ayakashi. Maybe if one was strong, they could last on their own, but…. Even without thinking about that, gods are the one with temples, and they get money from those, don’t they? And regular people don’t really pay attention to us, so businesses would be hard…

[She frowned. That certainly explained why she didn't see any shinki who were godless for very long. While they were on that somewhat morbid topic, it was hard to keep herself from wondering if any of those shinki had, in fact, been eaten instead of just picked up by another god.]

It's hard... But it's not impossible either, right? I think if a lot of us worked together, then something might work out!

Maybe... I know there's someone who started up a bar.

But that's a long term thing, right? For shinki who lose their gods right now and don't have someone to go to...

...They'll get eaten before anyone can do anything. [Just how close had she been to being eaten when Tsuzuki left? She didn't want to think about it.]

I hate just sitting around while this is happening though!

Well.... Maybe if we all tried to make, like... a place for shinki to stay while they're without a god, or between them?

But I think we'd need someone older to help start up something like that.

[She's a kid, right? What do people want her to do?]

Yeah, I guess so. [Through that really got her wondering. Could she really get "older" at this point? It was starting to look like she was going to be stuck at...whatever age she was forever.

She was quick about pushing that out of her mind. Or at least she tried to.]

I don't know that many older people, but I'll try asking them!
