[After making sure that Hibiki is otherwise preoccupied for.... reasons, Wendy takes to the network. Her childish face is clearly strained as she tries to keep a hold of some composure. But this has been bugging her for a while now, and she can't hold back.]

Okay, how many people here really believe that a shinki going nora is some sort of huge sin or personal failing? Relatedly, how stupid are you?

And not related at all, does anyone have any good curses or insults?

A nora is a shinki who's been named by more than one god. A god doesn't need them to go along with it, so you have those kind of people... but a shinki who does is considered a nora.

The only real problem is that a shinki then affects every god they're attached to... You know, for blight, and stuff.

That... seems rather counterintuitive though. And prone to conflicts of interest. Why would a shinki be loyal to anyone other than the god they were originally named by? If your first god runs afoul of your second...

Here’s a question to you right back- why should a shinki be loyal at all to their first god, who they get assigned to and know nothing about until they meet them for the first time?

I'm not sorry to say it. Talk down to me all you like; I arrived on the Far Shore knowing just my name and that I was here to serve Michael Archangel. He's given me no reason not to trust him, nor vice versa, and serving another god would be spitting on that trust.

Considering my first god was a wolf, I think I'm more than qualified to say that I've never met someone so dog-like! [Finishing her laughter, she rests her chin on top of interlaced fingers.] Someone just said "fetch, boy!", and you went running without thinking for yourself at all.

No wonder you're answering this question so simply~.
