[ The video opens to Nanako sprawled on her stomach, kicking her feet in the air behind her but her expression is one of serious thought. Although she looks a little shy and uncertain about leaving a message like this, she also looks pretty determined, too. This... hadn't been something she was sure about asking her big brother, so instead she tries here. Maybe that will be easier? Or people will be less quick to guess why she might be asking... ]

Sooo.... this is heaven, right? And where people go after they die?

If someone died a while ago, can you find them here somewhere?

Mmmm, she looked like me, I think. That's what my dad said. But I think her hair was longer. She smiled really pretty and wore pretty dresses and she liked flowers.

[armigers]

[ Okay, that describes pretty much a lot of girls he knows, but what did he really expect? ]

Got it. Flowers, dresses, brown hair. You must miss her badly, huh? What about your dad... is he around this place, too?

[ She didn't mention him, so he figures he isn't. Hopefully, he's not dead, too... please tell him he didn't just stick his foot in his mouth. ]

[ Her expression falters and she shakes her head slowly. ]

No, he's not here. I think... I think he's still back at my home.

[armigers]

[ Well, at least she has her big brother around, so he doesn't have to worry about her being all alone in this place. Though she did mention the fact that she has a shinki, which means- ]

You're a god?! Uh, goddess, I mean.

[ They'd even pick kids up for that role? ]

So you go around eliminating ayakashi, too?

[ But she's so little. He knows appearances can sometimes be deceiving, but this is too much. He also wonders what it says about being a god or goddess if even a small kid can do it. ]

Yeah! I'm Nanshe. Are you?

[ She nods at the first question, but hesitates over the second. ]

Not yet. I don't know what my powers are yet.

[armigers]

Sort of. But you can just call me Noctis.

[ A lot nicer sounding than 'Anu,' that's for sure. ]

And yeah powers aren't the kind of thing you want to mess around with. Do you have someone to train you? Another god with more experience?

[ He'd offer himself, but he honestly has no idea what he's doing either. ]

Okay. Hi, Noctis!

[ She can't really argue with that, although she finds most of the god names pretty strange. ]

Weeeell. Sorta. But everyone says I gotta figure out what my powers are on my own first, since it's different for everyone. Once I do, then I think I can start learning more about it. But that's not very easy...

[armigers]

There are training dummies around you can practice on. Saw some in that place we were in not too long ago. And if you need a live dummy, you can always borrow my shinki.

[ Not the first time he's offered to loan Prompto out since he arrived. He's useful for these sort of things. Besides, Prompto loves kids and would probably be happy to help out on his own accord. ]

I tried using the training dummies when we were all together to practice buuuut... [ She sighs. ] I don't really know how to fight at all. And even when I focused I couldn't figure out any other powers either. Nothing happened.

[armigers]

[ Smiles a little, trying to be reassuring and going all soft and gooey inside at the sight of her expression. ]

It's kind of hard if you're not used to it. Took me a while to learn to do a lot of things, too, so don't sweat it. We'll practice with you when you want.

[ That has her glancing up at him, because everyone else here seems to have figured out their powers pretty quick. ]

You had a hard time, too? How did you figure it out?

[armigers]

[ This kid is too cute for words. Noctis can't even pretend to be all cool and badass in front of her. ]

Yeah. Probably wasn't much older than you when I figured out I even had any, but you'll get it eventually. My shinki, Prompto's, a good punching bag, too. Even comes complete with colorful commentary when you hit him.

[ Her mouth drops open at that. ]

But shinki aren't for punching!

[armigers]

Sure, they are. I didn't say you had to hit him hard. It's training.

[ Besides, it's not like Prompto ever goes easy on him when they train against each other, Mr. I-don't-know-what-the-safety-is. ]

But what if he gets hurt? I thought you were supposed to punch the figures instead? The ones that aren't real!

[armigers]

It's training for him to on avoiding getting hit, too. He's also pretty sturdy for a lanky guy. I've seen him take some big ones and walk out of it mostly okay.

[ Well, he hasn't broken anything yet, so Noctis thinks he can handle a girl under ten. Or at least he hopes.

Otherwise, R.I.P Prompto. It was nice knowing you. ]

[ Nanako still looks a little uncertain, but that makes sense. Sort of. ]

Okay. Just so he doesn't get hurt, though.

Nah, he'll be okay. You just worry about practicing your magic for now.

[ He gives her a thumbs up and a lop-sided smile, hoping he's managed to cheer her up at least a little. ]
