I have a question for the shinki among us.

How important to you is your connection to your god?

If you could go without a name, and not worry about your safety or a place to stay, would you prefer to?

Maybe. We have to try.

Will my answer help you and the person you're helping in any way?

Then truth be told, I'd rather be without a god if I could, but I don't hate my situation of being tied to one either.

It depends on how you want to look at it. Having the connection is important, but I don't want to become dependent on it.

Emotionally, mostly.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it can become dangerous to become too dependent on your god.

[Especially if, one day, the god would end up disappearing.]
toremainbehind: ([39] Are you still there?)

We've had people disappear and new ones arrive, so sometimes it's best to be safe than sorry.

Of course, it's just an opinion of mine.

Whether it's pitiable or not would depend on the person living it out, is it not? But I won't discourage anyone if they want to form those attachments.

Why do you say mortal?

I'd rather be free. I don't mind being tied to a god, but if I had it my way, I'd be alone.

but since we can't take out the stupid ayakashi on our own, I guess it's moot.

If there's a problem with your god, maybe severed bonds can be repaired?

[Helpful!Schuldig is working on this with his own, too.[

Yeah! That was fun. I loved gettin to do my own thing, without any god around telling me what to do.

But they're not really that common. That's the first time we've had anything like them.

That's one way of putting it, I suppose.

[Thinking this anon isn't human/mortal by the way he worded those, but:]

Nonetheless, I do hope your efforts had managed to provide some insight for you and the person you're helping.

Peace? Not my style. I'm built for violence. It's what makes me happy!
