I have a question for the shinki among us.

How important to you is your connection to your god?

If you could go without a name, and not worry about your safety or a place to stay, would you prefer to?

Emotionally, mostly.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it can become dangerous to become too dependent on your god.


[Especially if, one day, the god would end up disappearing.]

We've had people disappear and new ones arrive, so sometimes it's best to be safe than sorry.

Whether it's pitiable or not would depend on the person living it out, is it not? But I won't discourage anyone if they want to form those attachments.
