1. Has anyone heard a prayer asking for someone else's death?

2. Has anyone considered answering such a prayer?

Names not required.

[For a moment, he's silent because holy crap, he and Masaki are not dating(yet? anymore?) and also why does this matter, but then it clicks for him. Ah.]

She does, and she appreciates my honest opinions.

I assume so, and despite what you may think, I care a great deal about hers. But that is beside the point. A man doesn't have to lie to be kind to his lover. Why are you against honesty? Got something to hide?

Touché.

Well, I'm not hiding my identity. I'm not really ashamed to say I'd kill someone. I've done so before, many times. In my previous... well, my previous previous life.

And I'm honest about that, as well being honest with my lovers.

I am. [For the most part. Right now, one of his lovers was rather unfortunately without her memories, and he wasn't filling her in. Then again, they were not 'in a relationship' right now, either, due to her memory loss, so...

He supposed that meant that Masaki wasn't currently his lover at all.]

Is there any point to a relationship built upon lies and half-truths?
