[Roxas takes a moment to watch Sora walk off before following him. He grabs Sora by the arm and starts leading him in a different direction.

He's quiet till they get there. He stops at the door, turns to Sora, and looks a little irritated.]

Then don't call it a date unless you want it to be one. No joking about it.

[With that said he walks into what turns out to be a maid cafe. Roxas must know what's he's doing in picking this place out.]

[He grumbles under his breath the entire time he's dragged in the right direction. When they finally arrive he just stares at Roxas.

As soon as Roxas turns away he lets out a breath.] Well I... kind of...

[Nevermind. What the heck is this cafe? He perks up, looking curious.]

What kind of soup place is this?! It looks amazing!

[Roxas catches the attention of one of the maids who leads them to a table.]

It's a maid cafe. This one has good food, so I've been here a few times.

[It's never too busy, the staff here is nice, and he just kind of comes here to decompress sometimes.

He sits and looks at one of the menus in front of them.] Plus, this one doesn't try to make the food look cute. It looks like it's supposed to.

[Sora slides into the seat across from Roxas and smiles at the maid when she passes them menus. It's a really cute cafe, no wonder Roxas comes here a lot. The girls are cute in those outfits too. Maybe they were hiring butlers? Just a passing thought.]

Is there a lot of these kind of cafes around?

[He looks down at his menu and scans. He goes right for the ramen.] I'm getting the biggest bowl they've got!

[Cute girls help with the appeal. Roxas has yet to realize that when the girls notice him outside of ordering they aren't just trying to make small talk.]

Akihabara has a ton of them. This one is supposed to be French chic but with a Japanese twist. I don't know what that means, but I like how they have more than cake here.

[He puts his menu down after a quick scan, nodding to Sora. He orders for them both, opting to just get sweet coffee for himself.]

So what are we gonna do after this?

Looks like they're happy to have you as a regular!

[He grins and before the order can be finished Sora interjects that he wants a strawberry bubble tea as well. With the order placed Sora stretches his legs a bit under the table.]

You mean after lunch or...after after?

[His mind wanders to the last happenings of the last few days and what Leo said to him.]

I wanna get out for a while. Away from stuff. I'm happy just being out of my room right now, but I wanna go... places. [He smiles fondly,] You should come with me to Tokyo, Leo and me are planning a thing.

You think so? Maybe if you're in a place enough, they might remember you after a while.

[It'd be nice if that was true.

Bubble tea? Really? Roxas isn't too surprised. He's not a fan himself because of the tapioca pearls.]

Both. [That sounds appealing, but...] I know he said has no problem with me... [Leo messaged him yesterday.] You think it'd be okay for me to go? Wouldn't it be better to make it a family trip?

[Sora snickers, shaking his head.] Yeah, I don't think it's just that...

[And yes, bubble tea. He's obsessed with the stuff. Could drink it everyday.

He perks up when Roxas shows interest. Time to hook line and sinker.]

Of course it would be okay! It's all a big mix match of us, it's not really a family trip. Elise is coming so we can't really tell her it's one anyway. But it'll be great! We can see tokyo tower and check out all the cool shops and arcades and take a ton of pictures! Really, I need the help with teaching Leo what real modern life is, please say yes! Don't leave me to answer all his dumb questions alone!

[Roxas doesn't get it.] Then what is it?

[That sounds both fun and exhausting. It could be potentially awkward.

Screw it.]

Just tell me when. And you better not shove him on me. You're the one who wants to show him the modern world. I'll take Forrest.

[Sora wonders if he should point out the giggling maid girls nearby that keep staring at Roxas. He's definitely not an expert at girls but it's pretty obvious even for him to notice. He decides to subtly point.] I think they'd be just fine with you visiting every single day. Looks like they've got crushes on someone.

[He laughs, shrugging a moment later.]

Don't try to sound so excited, Roxas! Fine, you can help Forrest. He's our age so he picks stuff up fast. I can't wait! I really wanna see Shibuya too to see if it's anything like Joshua and Neku's Shibuya! And Harajuku!

Huh? [Looking over, Roxas sees what Sora is talking about. If he had his hoodie, this would be the moment to hide his growing blush by pulling his hood over his face. Instead he focuses on the table rather intently when he does turn away.

Now it's gonna be awkward to come back here.]

I'm plenty excited. I haven't really been anywhere except Akihabara and Shinagawa. [That last one...] Why Harajuku? Looking for new clothes?

[Okay, he can't help but laugh at that reaction and take a jab at Roxas.] Yeah, you're bad at noticing those things even if they smacked you right in the nose.

[Speaking from personal experience, of course.]

Isn't Harajuku that place with all the cool shops? It's in Shibuya so I thought it was!

[Sora's knowledge of this stuff is pretty limited to whatever he gets from Joshua, honestly.]

[That gets you a glare.] I am not! [Roxas is good at noticing things... When they don't come to that kind of stuff. Okay, fine. He's bad at it. Then again no one notices when he thinks he's being obvious about liking someone either. Or they misunderstand just how much he likes someone like Pippa did.]

From what I read it's full of a lot of clothing shops.

[Sora puts his hand over his mouth and stifles laughter and then looks away, a little fond.] It's okay Roxas, you'll get better at picking up those things someday.

[He's teasing, yeah. He's kind of grateful that Roxas doesn't pick those things up very easily anyway. Mostly because Sora's nearly an open book when it comes to it.

Besides, with the mention of all the dates Roxas has gone on, those girls giving him the googly eyes and Roxas still not over his girlfriend- it's not like Sora has much of a chance anyway. ~~Yes, he's pining a little.~~]

Forrest will definitely wanna go there, then! I guess I could use some new clothes too. And---

Ohhhh. Did I tell you about Aymeric?

Maybe... [Even with the hints that people have dropped in the past, and some of those things Sora said while half asleep and the affection, he still doesn't think anything could happen with anyone, girlfriend or not. Feelings are a lot, lot more confusing in this place. Everything got dumped on him at once. ~~Sora, one of the people he was crushing on in Koriko happened to be a guy~~

This whole situation is reminding him he hasn't had a chance for a mental catch up in well over a week. Kido was right. He needs to take time for himself. Before everything catches up at once and he snaps again.

Roxas will consider it and maybe gets some rest. In a few days maybe.]

Doesn't Forrest make his own clothes? [He blinks and shakes his head.] No. Who's that?

[Sora knows everything's been awful, it's been bad for him too. He wouldn't press something as stupid as a little crush on Roxas right now.

Sora's idea of healing is just being around the people he loves so the Toyko trip idea is really something that's becoming close to his heart. Losing so many friends... He just wants to make some happy memories and be with the people he cares about and loves.

He's really happy Roxas said he'll go.]

I mean he'll probably really love just seeing everything so he can get his own ideas for his commissions. He's been doing really great. Except that one guy who gave him a jaguar skin........

[Sora sighs dramatically and shakes his head.]

Aymeric is a new god, he also happens to be my son. I think the heavens think they're pretty funny up there, har har!

[Sora probably doesn't realize it, but Roxas thinks it's kind of nice the way he talks about his "family." It's only been a short time but he can tell Sora pays a lot of attention to them.

He wonders if that's what he sounded like when talking to people about his family from Koriko. He misses them more and more each day. Hane would be great to have around right now, she knew how to help Roxas sort out emotions in an easy way.]

I think I saw a post about that. [.....] Was it at least tanned?

[He has to put a hand over his mouth. Imagining Sora as a dad is too funny, and he can't help but laugh. Sorry, Sora, it's not going to die down for a while.]

[They are indeed very special people to him. They all kind of just lumped together so easily at first with the only connection being between Odin and Baldr, but now they all cared for each other like a real, somewhat mixed up, family. He wouldn't trade it for anything.

Sora makes a face.] Noooope. We had to drag that thing into the gardens to air out... I nearly barfed.

[But then Roxas is laughing and Sora blinks and stares. It feels like a long time since he's made Roxas laugh like and his heart starts beating really, really fast. If only he could make Roxas laugh like that all the time...]

Hey! He's like.... thirty or something! So it's not like I'm his actual dad! If anything he's my dad! A second dad dad!

[Whereas Roxas doesn't even really have his pantheon siblings to really count on family wise, except maybe Sheryl. She was the type of big sister who sometimes tried way too hard to cheer him up. No, he tends to find unconventional family members, such as Katniss and Kido. People he wouldn't have expected to be such caring individuals since they always look mad.

He snorts softly.] Yeah, it doesn't smell any better with other animals either.

[He does stop laughing when he realizes he hasn't taken a proper breath in a few minutes. Laying his forehead on the table, he tries to calm himself. Laughing like that really hurts. A good kind of hurt. Even if he feels a little sick now.]

You've got a really weird family, Sora.

[Sometimes family turns out to be the friends you pick. It's doesn't make them any less family. Blood isn't thicker than water. That so much can be said about both their social circles.

He reaches out to ruffle Roxas' hair almost automatically and grins brightly.]

They're a bunch of weirdos, yep. I've got to introduce you to Elise before we make this trip happen. Leo always says she's a girl me.

[...Which is pretty accurate, actually.]

[Just don't make his family mad, Sora. Roxas would hate there to be a rift like that between the people he loves. He'll try and do the same.

He would huff, but that requires him to move his head up.]

A girl you? I don't think I can handle two Sora's.

[He finally does move his head to look up, chin resting on the table.]

Is she clingy like you?

[He'll be the perfect stand up not-boyfriend. Promise.

Sora was about to crack a joke about how he and her could probably swap bodies for a day and no one would even no the difference but then Roxas asks if she's clingy and Sora has a mild panic attack.

........ffffffffffff Is he really that bad? He kicks Roxas' foot under the table lightly.]

Is clingy bad?!

[Roxas grumbles at that and sits up fully.]

I'm not saying it's bad! [Sometimes it could be, but that's the risk of being around Sora.] I just don't want anyone else clinging to me.

[As in only you and that's it. He doesn't want someone else to be that close. It's scary, and he'd feel awful for having to divide up his time between Sora and another person. Besides, Sora was special in the first place.]

I don't like being touched by people I don't know.

Oh. [Sora scratches the back of his neck and laughs sheepishly. Well that just cleared things right up and now he's a little embarrassed.]

No, I don't think Elise will be like that.

[The way Roxas talks though just really reminds Sora of a cat.]

So, you're okay with me being clingy. Just me?

I hope not.

[Roxas nods, looking over to see what was taking so long for Sora's food.]

Yeah. [He turns to Sora with a frown.] That's okay, right? It's not weird?
