[Sora takes Roxas' hand grab as clear indication that he's invested in the show and enjoying it. Everything is part of the theatrics of the show and they would never let her drown but hooking the crowd in with this daring trick definitely worked.]

So, dolphins or sharks?

[He chuckles happily and claps too.

The next part of the show shows the dolphins showcasing various tricks such as pushing the girl around the surface of the water with their noses, her riding their backs quickly, various flips and twirls through hoops and toys and even her holding on to two of them as they dart around the tank at an even pace.

Then one of the dolphins sticks only its tail out of the water and waves to the crowd with it. Sora waves too and at the last second the dolphin splashes the front row before disappearing back into the water. Sora burst out laughing as the dolphins back flip again and cackle as they go.]

Huh?

[Is he asking which one Roxas think is better? There's no comparison between the two... He just shrugs and keeps watching the show.

He was starting to genuinely enjoy the show. The dolphins were well trained, the girl seemed to be having fun, and maybe it wasn't that bad to be here in the front row-

............ Roxas grumbles softly. He's wet. Thanks, Sora.]

[Oh yeah, cats don't like water. Whoops!

As the show starts to wrap up and end Sora is just a ball of happy energy. He feels better than he has in days.

He looks at Roxas as he grumbles and just laughs.]

Come on, I got an idea!

[Sora takes Roxas' hand and starts taking them in the direction of the exit of the dolphin show hall and looks around momentarily before he spots the signs for the souvenir shop and goes that direction.]

[Hey! He likes water just fine! Roxas just like being soaked and having to walk around wet even on a nice day.]

An idea?

[He lets Sora lead the way, looking around to see where they were.]

Are we leaving?

Not just yet!

[Sora leads them into the shop and glances around and spots exactly what he was looking for in the first place. He pulls Roxas over and then pulls a shark hoodie off one of the shelves.]

Get this! No more wet clothes!

[There was a whole bunch of cute stuffed animals all over the place. Roxas was about to grab a dolphin one when Sora pulls him over to the hoodies.

.... Okay that's kind of cute.]

.....

[He takes it and heads over to the plush section, grabbing a couple things off of the shelves. Without another word he goes to pay and waits for Sora, bag in hand.]

Come on.

[Don't think Sora didn't catch how Roxas seems pleased with the hoodie. Sora grins, vibrantly proud of himself for his pick and follows Roxas about as he gets some other toys and plushies and follows him out.

He still feels really bad for seeing Roxas spend so much money today though.]

I think I've got a lot to live up to for our next day trip.

[Sora laughs warmly.]

[If only you knew why he doesn't care how much he spent, you wouldn't feel so bad, Sora.

Outside of the store Roxas puts on the hoodie, looking at other curiously. Was something up?]

Why do you say that?

No reason, today's just turning out a lot better than I imagined. [Sora grins, dodging most of the question.] That hoodie looks really awesome on you!

[Mostly because Sora feels really spoiled today and grateful for Roxas, and feels really happy despite all the terrible things that have happened. He just wants Roxas to be happy too.]

[Roxas doesn't try and follow up on the dodged part, instead pulling the hood up. Stop complimenting him!] It's just a hoodie. I have a lot of them.

[He's needed this day as much as you, Sora. He hesitates before handing the bag with the stuffed animals over to Sora. Just take them.]

[Yeah compliments aren't gonna be stopping anytime soon. Especially with Roxas being so nice to him!

He looks at the bag and then back to Roxas, because he intentionally thought Roxas had bought them for himself.]

What, really?

[He takes the bag and smiles, looking down at the floor for a second. The dolphin plush is in there and just...

Sora practically vibrates on the spot for a second before he can't help himself anymore and throws his arms around Roxas in a tight hug.]

Thank you!

[He had actually been looking for something like this to give to Sora since the other had given him that little stuffed deer. Roxas was just never sure what animal Sora really loved since he was so affectionate with all of them.

He nods, waiting for the inevitable hug that was sure to follow. It's a little tighter than expected, but Roxas returns the hug.]

You're welcome.

[He pulls away and puts his hands in his pockets.]

Wanna keep looking around or...?

[Honestly, he doesn't really want to leave but he is feeling a little tired. ~~If this not-date could continue forever and ever that'd be great but you know.~~]

Kinda wanna leave soon, I'm a little tired. [He laughs sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.] B-but! Only if you want to! We could catch a movie or something?

[Since he still doesn't really wanna see the ceiling of Forrest's temple from his bed any time soon either.]

[Sora, who says Roxas would even take you to Forrest's. He'd either take you to your temple or his. You can rest somewhere more comfortable.]

A movie? [Well... what was on the posters he saw walking by a theater?] If we pick a drama you can always take a nap.

[Because dramas are boring and way too long.]

[A familiar bed would be great today. He'd sleep like a rock.]

You don't mind if I fall asleep through an entire movie?

[Sora snickers, but he's not opposed to the idea of it. The hum and background noise of the movie would probably put him to sleep rather quickly.]

[Roxas' place it is. He wants to sleep in his fluffy bed.]

Why would I mind if you're sleeping?

[He'd actually prefer Sora getting more rest, even if it means Sora sleeping through a few movies. Roxas could show off the city at night then.]

I dunno! Riku and Kairi used to get mad at me if I fell asleep through movies.

[Sora shrugs and smiles.]

Let's go though, a movie nap sounds great right about now.

[Trying not to look irritated.]

I'm not Kairi and Riku.

[Anyways. Roxas starts walking ahead to the exit.]

Then let's go.

[...What was that about? Sora watches Roxas walk ahead for a second with a puzzled expression. Does Roxas not like him talking about them? Riku, he could understand why, but still. It was just a small offhand comment.

He quickly catches up and falls into step with Roxas.]

You okay?

[No. And any way he explains it is just going to make him sound potentially petty and jealous. And it's not even like the situation between comparing the two different Sora's out loud...

Whatever. Roxas takes a deep breath before potentially making a huge mistake.]

I don't want what I do compared with what they would do. I don't like it.

[This is going to end this day, isn't it.]

[Sora looks at Roxas, unsure what to make of that comment at first. It had been a simple comparison and he had meant nothing about it. But it makes him wonder why Roxas reacted like this. Riku and Kairi are pretty big parts of his life, no matter what. But he didn't mean to make Roxas feel upset.

He supposes it has to do with how things between them were very different between him and Riku and Kairi. It's a different kind of friendship. Even if he can't describe it in his head correctly.]

It was just a stupid memory. [Sora says softly, trying to keep the situation light. The last thing he wants is to fight with Roxas right now. He doesn't think his heart could take it.] I didn't mean to compare you guys like that.

[Slowing down, Roxas kicks at the ground as he mulls his own comment over.]

I'm not mad, I just don't like being compared to others. You asked me not to do it when it comes to the other Sora-[He stills remembers how upset Sora was that night]-and even though it's different...

[Let's hope this doesn't sound awful.] I'm not one of your best friends, I'm not your family, not like those two. So don't compare me to them. It's not the first time you've done it. I just never said anything about it because I didn't want to make you mad at me.

[Sora nods quickly, remembering how upset he had gotten when he finally had enough of being compared to the other Sora.

Roxas' comment about them not being best friends or family makes Sora think what to label Roxas as. He trust Roxas probably more than anyone in this entire place. He just wants to be with Roxas and see him happy all the time. There is no label he can put on it. Roxas is just...

Roxas is special to him. And he's okay with being wrapped up in that.]

It's different, but it's the same too. I'm sorry, I won't to it anymore. You're different to me than they are... I don't really know what to call it but... [He scratches his cheek nervously.] If I do it again, you can punch me too, okay?

[As per the deal.]

[Roxas thinks of what they could call it. He laughs softly as he remembers one of their first conversations in this place. It was about soulmates, and how since they shared at heart, they may as well be that.] I think you called us platonic soulmates once.

[Though the platonic could be dropped in his opinion. Just soulmates would be fine, since you didn't have to be romantically involved for it to be true. Grudgingly it reminds him of Amaya and Shiro back in Koriko. Those two always were a lot closer than Roxas liked, but if he were to give them a label, it would definitely be soulmates. He is hoping that those two would get the wish of being allowed to live in one world together.]

I don't think punching you would make you stop. I'll think of something else. [Silent treatment seems like a much better option.]

[Oh noooo he totally forgot about that soulmate thing when they first arrived here. Sora feels himself blushing harder and he rubs his nose to try to pretend he's not. Back then he'd been teasing and he didn't have a giant crush on Roxas like he did now. So hearing soulmates, even if that platonic was said too... oh nooo.]

Soulmates, heh, yeah, I guess that's still one way to put it!

[He laughs, his heart picking up a little. He might like that a little too much.]
