[Sora probably doesn't realize it, but Roxas thinks it's kind of nice the way he talks about his "family." It's only been a short time but he can tell Sora pays a lot of attention to them.

He wonders if that's what he sounded like when talking to people about his family from Koriko. He misses them more and more each day. Hane would be great to have around right now, she knew how to help Roxas sort out emotions in an easy way.]

I think I saw a post about that. [.....] Was it at least tanned?

[He has to put a hand over his mouth. Imagining Sora as a dad is too funny, and he can't help but laugh. Sorry, Sora, it's not going to die down for a while.]

[They are indeed very special people to him. They all kind of just lumped together so easily at first with the only connection being between Odin and Baldr, but now they all cared for each other like a real, somewhat mixed up, family. He wouldn't trade it for anything.

Sora makes a face.] Noooope. We had to drag that thing into the gardens to air out... I nearly barfed.

[But then Roxas is laughing and Sora blinks and stares. It feels like a long time since he's made Roxas laugh like and his heart starts beating really, really fast. If only he could make Roxas laugh like that all the time...]

Hey! He's like.... thirty or something! So it's not like I'm his actual dad! If anything he's my dad! A second dad dad!

[Whereas Roxas doesn't even really have his pantheon siblings to really count on family wise, except maybe Sheryl. She was the type of big sister who sometimes tried way too hard to cheer him up. No, he tends to find unconventional family members, such as Katniss and Kido. People he wouldn't have expected to be such caring individuals since they always look mad.

He snorts softly.] Yeah, it doesn't smell any better with other animals either.

[He does stop laughing when he realizes he hasn't taken a proper breath in a few minutes. Laying his forehead on the table, he tries to calm himself. Laughing like that really hurts. A good kind of hurt. Even if he feels a little sick now.]

You've got a really weird family, Sora.

[Sometimes family turns out to be the friends you pick. It's doesn't make them any less family. Blood isn't thicker than water. That so much can be said about both their social circles.

He reaches out to ruffle Roxas' hair almost automatically and grins brightly.]

They're a bunch of weirdos, yep. I've got to introduce you to Elise before we make this trip happen. Leo always says she's a girl me.

[...Which is pretty accurate, actually.]

[Just don't make his family mad, Sora. Roxas would hate there to be a rift like that between the people he loves. He'll try and do the same.

He would huff, but that requires him to move his head up.]

A girl you? I don't think I can handle two Sora's.

[He finally does move his head to look up, chin resting on the table.]

Is she clingy like you?

[He'll be the perfect stand up not-boyfriend. Promise.

Sora was about to crack a joke about how he and her could probably swap bodies for a day and no one would even no the difference but then Roxas asks if she's clingy and Sora has a mild panic attack.

........ffffffffffff Is he really that bad? He kicks Roxas' foot under the table lightly.]

Is clingy bad?!

[Roxas grumbles at that and sits up fully.]

I'm not saying it's bad! [Sometimes it could be, but that's the risk of being around Sora.] I just don't want anyone else clinging to me.

[As in only you and that's it. He doesn't want someone else to be that close. It's scary, and he'd feel awful for having to divide up his time between Sora and another person. Besides, Sora was special in the first place.]

I don't like being touched by people I don't know.

Oh. [Sora scratches the back of his neck and laughs sheepishly. Well that just cleared things right up and now he's a little embarrassed.]

No, I don't think Elise will be like that.

[The way Roxas talks though just really reminds Sora of a cat.]

So, you're okay with me being clingy. Just me?

I hope not.

[Roxas nods, looking over to see what was taking so long for Sora's food.]

Yeah. [He turns to Sora with a frown.] That's okay, right? It's not weird?

[Sora genuinely smiles. He's not fidgeting around in his seat at all, nope, no way.] Super okay, not weird!

[Yeah, that food has been talking a while. He's getting really hungry.]

Should we ask? I might die pretty soon if I don't eat something.

[Roxas returns the smile, secretly very happy that Sora doesn't think it's weird.] I'm glad.

[He moves to get up when one of the maids comes by, apologizing profusely about forgetting to bring their order over. Roxas just laughs nervously as she rushes away.]

I think she's new. That hasn't happened in a while...

[Sora makes sure to tell the girl that it's totally okay giving her a friendly smile and thanking her for the food. No reason to make the girl feel terrible, it was an honest mistake. He's not actually gonna die or anything.

But he does dig right in like any good growing fifteen year old teenage boy.]

It's fine! I'm not really in a rush. I don't really feel like going back to the temple any time soon anyway.

[Might not die, but Roxas wanted his coffee. It's not as good as what Kaneki made. Honestly he doesn't think anyone will ever stack up to Kaneki.]

Then why are you eating like you're in a rush?

[Hmm... What could they do after this?] There's not a lot around here unless you want to browse shops. We can find a museum or aquarium. I'm up for anything.

[Sora pauses, a noodle coming up to smack him in the cheek.]

It's really good!

[He swallows and coughs a little at the mention of the aquarium.]

R-Really? You wanna go to the aquarium?

[Last time Sora mentioned something like that, Roxas said he'd be too hyper to go with so Sora's now looking at him like he's just been given Christmas early.]

[..... gross. Really? Where are your table manners.

Roxas nodded, sipping his coffee. It was easy to spend hours in that place, or with the case with Yuma... almost an entire day.]

I took Yuma there, and he's a lot like you. So why not?

[Okay, this Yuma is calmer than the other one he knew, but Sora doesn't need to know that. ~~He just wants to see all the pretty displays again.~~]

[Sora's not cute all the time. Whoops.]

Oh! Well, you don't mind going again? I'd love to see it! But if you've seen it already...

[He really wants to go. Really bad. But if Roxas has already seen everything with Yuma...?]

[Clearly.]

... we didn't see all of it. We kind of got distracted by the jellyfish, anemones, and sharks...

[I.e. they barely got into the aquarium itself. Though Roxas still had a lot of fun in the end.]

[Honestly Roxas could ask him to go sit in a tree and do nothing right now and Sora would probably agree to it. Being away from everything...feels really good.

He's tired but he nods happily.] I don't wanna miss sharks. Let's go.

[He'll finish his meal relatively quickly.]

The sharks aren't going anywhere.

[Please don't choke on your food. Roxas will go pay and wait for you to finish.]

There's a shrine not too far from where we're heading to.

[No trains please. He doesn't want to get lost.]

[When he's finishes and Roxas comes back he can't help but asking,] Are you getting used to teleporting more often?

[The last teleport that Sora took made his ears ring. Hopefully that wouldn't happen again.

He stands and gets ready to leave. Not before waving goodbye to the nice girls.]

Yeah. It's been easier than walking. [He's been too tired to walk everywhere these past few days.

Roxas follows Sora's lead and waves as well as he walks out.]

You can hang on to me if you need to.

[Well if Roxas is gonna insist. He takes Roxas' arm hooks his with him. And a little itty bitty part of him hopes the girls see him walking out with Roxas like that... but he lets the thought go pretty quickly.]

I'm gonna have to pay you back for all this, you know.

[He feels kinda bad leaving all his stuff at the temple.]

[Sora, that is both confusing but kinda cute. Roxas is just gonna let it go. Mostly because no one would really be paying attention to them in the first place. He wonders how much more clingy Sora would be with whoever he was dating. He doesn't seem the type to ever want to let go of his partner.

He shakes his head.]

You don't have to. I don't mind doing something for you since you keep doing things for me.

[Like being such a big source of support.]

[Roxas would indeed be right about that. He's naturally affectionate, it would be important to him with someone he's dating. He'd probably have a lot of trouble with someone who couldn't accept that part of him.

He's already thinking if he should get a gift for Roxas for all this treating he's doing. Especially for dealing with Sora when he threw his fit earlier. He smiles.]

Well that's going both ways! I don't know how I'd be able to handle everything without you around.

[Honestly he wishes he could do more for Roxas.]

[Roxas would call anyone who couldn't accept that part an idiot. He firmly believes that you should love the person for who they are, even the flaws.

And that was a tiny fit. He has thrown much, much worse. Destruction of property worse.]

You would have figured it out. [He would say the same. Sora recognizing him right away had been a huge relief.] You always do.
