HEAVEN'S BBS | VOICE
I know everybirdie is really busy and there's been a lot going an lately but I've been thinking a lot about what happened at the party.
[Hiyoko is well aware that a lot of other stuff happened right after and there were plenty of gods and shinki still dealing with the fallout from that. That's why she gave it a few days. But now it's time to see if anybirdie else is thinking along the same lines as her.]
That fire was obviously set by people who aren't happy with Amaterasu. I'm not sure if it's her they don't like, or if she's put some unpopular policies in place, but we can't really ignore an attack like this. Has this group tired anything like this before? Have they made any other demands?
[Because 'down with Amaterasu' is one thing, but 'down with the heavens?' What are they supposed to do? Start hurling their temples at the near shore? That demand is way too vague.]
I also heard about an incident with poisoned chocolates. That was before I got here but the whole thing sounded pretty fishy. Does anybirdie else think that might have been an attempt to discredit Amaterasu? And if there any other incidents like that, I wouldn't mind hearing about them.
What you guys think?

Re: Text
They said 'Down with the Heavens!' and 'Down with Amaterasu!'
Which basically means they want her removed from power.
And that creativity isn't their strong point.
But they probably have other demands too.
Text
Re: Text
And I'd be willing to hear them out.
But even if they do this is not the way to change things.
Text
Even if they had complaints, that's villainy.
Re: Text
Honestly what surprises me the most is that we're not hearing any official statements from Amaterasu.
Or even someone associated with her.
Any of the old guard.
Why are they just keeping quiet?

Re: Text
That sure was something.
Did she really think it was okay to call it a mix-up?
She sounds like a dry cleaner who ruined somebirdie's suit.
Text
I don't understand the native gods at all if they can call that a mix-up. People died because we were giving away those chocolates. I don't think we got to everybody in time.
Re: Text
How can she talk like that about people's lives?
I can't agree with the violent tactics of her enemies, but it's hard to completely support someone so callous.
Text
But I can't agree with that. I'm human, I don't want anybody to suffer like that if it can be helped.
I can't agree with either of them. Amaterasu for her callousness or the other faction for being this violent.
Re: Text
Right now both sides seem pretty awful.
But it's not like we have a third option.
Text
The third option would be appointing one of the newcomers. But given that people seem to come and go at random, that doesn't seem like a good idea. It seems unstable at best.
Re: Text
Text
But I'm also not for the anonymous group or the way Amaterasu treats human lives. Nobody should die because of a "mix-up" heavenly or otherwise.
For now, we can assemble groups to deal with the actions of the anonymous groups, trying to help as many people on both shores as we can.
Re: Text
But I definitely think we need a third option.
I just don't know what that third option should be.
Text
Maybe the group has something to do with it. We don't know what happened to the gods we're replacing.
It's also weird that there are so many foreign gods in the heavens of Japan.
Re: Text
I sure hope he's wrong about that though.
Text
I hope so too.
Re: Text
If he is right, we're in big trouble.
But maybe they're okay.
Maybe they just replaced us in our worlds.

Re: Text
Maybe she could champion the cause of censorship?
Re: Text
Re: Text
Maybe she could focus on being the most humble hero.
[This is clearly an important issue.]
