Why are so many of you so young? I'm not the only one at a more mature age, am I? Is anyone over 20? I'm getting wrinkles just thinking about this.

[He's just 25 but if he has one more person tell him they're too young to drink when he thought they were older... his heart can't take it.]

If people can't find something about themselves to be proud aside from fleeting trivialities such as beauty and youth, they don't deserve my warmth. Better they realize this sooner so we don't end up with young noble women murdering peasant girls and bathing in their blood again.

Anyway, you see, I'm just wondering about the average age here...

You might enjoy surrounding yourself with children, but I'd prefer to have some closer to my age.

There are hardly any children here. Nearly everyone I've met is an adult.

Really? Where have they been hiding? Most of the people I've met have been younger!

I haven't gone around and asked, but there are plenty of adults, albeit some of them only just if I'm any good at guessing ages. No one under the age of fourteen, certainly.

Fourteen is plenty young.

Not an adult just yet, no, but close enough to count I would think. Unless you consider adulthood to come later that sixteen.

Sixteen is definitely still a child, no matter how you look at it. Seventeen, maybe, but...

Sixteen isn't so different from seventeen.

And fifteen is not so different from sixteen. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

Fifteen is more like fourteen than sixteen, however. Regardless, there's plenty of adults here. Perhaps not ones as old as you, but all the same.

I wouldn't know. I haven't asked. I am, at least.

At least there are a small handful of people in that age range, so far.
