Why are so many of you so young? I'm not the only one at a more mature age, am I? Is anyone over 20? I'm getting wrinkles just thinking about this.

[He's just 25 but if he has one more person tell him they're too young to drink when he thought they were older... his heart can't take it.]

Ignoring that I'm a shinki and can't remember a thing about my own world, I'll have to say no, I don't recognize that at all.

I'm not quite sure an explanation is needed. I've mentioned bathing in the blood of young and youthful people twice in relation to the nobility of my home. Do I need to spell out what some rather insane people did in my homeland's history?

What about an explanation as to why you feel the need to keep bringing this up?

Obsession with youth can lead to terrible things.

Though what does age have to do with that?

Everyone continues to tell me they're too young to drink.

There are no eight-year-olds here. Who the hells is too young to drink here?

That depends who you ask. One 19 year old rejected my offer because of his age. Apparently there's a law that varies by country.

That is the single dumbest thing about this world I have yet come across.

It's tragic, that's what it is. I only want to enjoy some sake with friends.

Maybe remind them that they are gods or the servants of gods and can ignore that particular law.

There's no use trying to change someone's morals. That's part of them. It would only end up spreading blight.
