[Since one oblique mention of it a while ago, Yukine had been keeping an eye out.
And now it has come up on the BBS in ways he couldn’t brush off as being a mistake, even if he tried.
A few – probably quite more than a few – of the new shinki have become nora.
Biting firmly on the inside of his mouth and clutching his phone tightly in both hands, a lot of thoughts fly through his mind. Dark thoughts, like how could a group of strays be dealt with if they put their mind to something dangerous? Angry thoughts that these people seemed so damn attracted to whatever everyone else told them was abhorrent. (That was a new word he’d learned that was just perfect for this situation, wasn’t it!) Small, scared thoughts of his own defeats at the hands of nora— no, he’s not scared of them!
Should he tell someone and let them deal with it? Should he tell them off himself?
Yukine starts and deletes several messages before deciding that none of them would give him the information he wants.
Nora are dangerous and have rotten personalities. He doubts that these new nora are much different. So what he wants— is a way to protect himself and Yato from them. And that means getting their names. Their regular names are not a problem, but the new shinki are weird. They don't have names based on their kanji like normal. So that just means to be safe Yukine has to get all their names, including the vessel name.
Most of them likely don’t know the significance their name has. And the ones that do and don’t share their names... they obviously have something to hide, right?]
I saw the post a little while ago asking about having more than one god, and have seen some other people mention the same. Wow, I’m surprised that it sounds like a lot of you have become nora. I really wonder what kind of situations made you do it. I’d be interested to hear about it and how many names you have now. Or for gods, how many shinki you have now.

Ok, Kazuma-san, trying to not kneejerk or be emotional.]
Where did you get that out of what I said? You're the one who brought up disappearing gods.

wow, such language around the kid ;;
But he gets the drift. He'll look it up later.
You need to just get one random fucker that you can work with though. Really.]
It's up to the god and the shinki to figure out how it's better. It's not impossible that a shinki could quit ten gods before finding a good one.
this isn't even him getting salty
Hell, I'd been thrown in with some self-righteous school teacher, not a god. She had stupid ideas and busted her ass to try to make something good out of this. Anything we figured out had been as two people, and it wasn't diminished because I had more than her brand on me.
It only means nothing now because she's dead and everything she built up has been razed.
/smh
Grrrr... Watch him have ALL the self-restraint here. Just watch.]
Elsa-sama was a good teacher. I'm sorry she's disappeared too.
Listen, I didn't start this post meaning to discuss nora philosophy. But you and some others have brought up the point that your name means almost nothing to you. You called it a 'brand'. It's not a brand, though. It's your name. You seriously feel nothing for it?
[obviously not because he's a nora.]

You might want to identify us for your own reasons, but you'll be better off if you suck it up and listen when people want to defend their way of living. Your path isn't the only correct one.
Calling it a brand isn't exactly correct either, aside from the fact that it implies ownership. In truth, you could call it a seal. It holds the spell that binds the soul. Treating it like a real name might give the spell more power, but I already have one of those.

You're the one who called it a brand. But I have no idea what you're talking about for the rest of that.
It's not 'like' a real name. It is my name. But then, treating it 'like' a name seems to be another one of the weird things about the new shinki. Like you said, somehow you already have one.
