[Yuuki had been doing so well.

When she wakes up on the morning of the thirteenth, there's something different. Hajime will feel it as a sense of confusion and unease, though it has yet to progress to outright stinging. It's... strange. She remembers lush greens and a blue sky that seems to stretch forever, circling around a giant tree from which the world itself seems to spring. She remembers laughter, turning to the culprit and laughing herself in sheer bliss as she takes in the world. Between the six of them, they practically have a rainbow of wings... Siune, Jun, Tecchi, Talken, Nori. She knows their names, their races, the fact that they were her comrades. But...

That's it. Just a brief glimpse into what must have been her past. A beautiful world full of friendly faces that she can't quite reach out to grasp... One that she shouldn't.

And yet...]

I think that's kind of unfair. Why withhold information? Unless they have ulterior motives?

Sometimes they say they don’t know and other times it’s like they don’t care because it’s just this tiny little thing compared to everything else

They just don’t look at things the same way we do
