Yes to being in love. Or at least I think so. Some form of it at least.

Whenever I was around them, I felt safe and happy, and I wanted them to feel safe and happy too, no matter the cost. They meant everything.

I feel safe and happy with my friends. How is it different?

Maybe it isn't. You can love your friends.

But I felt different about them too. A different kind of safety and happiness.

There were other factors too. We used to live together, so we were closer because we saw each other all the time. And they were a friend, but not just a friend.

I guess I don't know how to explain it. I only know how I feel.

You don't need a lot of friends. The ones you have are important and you can always make more if you want.

Sometimes I feel safe with them. Sometimes I feel happy with them. I definitely don't want to kiss them.

Is that love?

But what if there is somebody that you fight with all the time and you sometimes feel happy and safe with them but only sometimes because you're usually fighting, but you really want to kiss them. And even though you fight all the time you can't stop thinking about them and you want THEM to be safe and happy. What is that called?

I guess it depends on why you're fighting all the time. You don't need to answer here, just think on it.

Because I think it's not uncommon for people that care about each other to hurt each other on accident. And if you hurt someone, you should apologize and talk things out.

But sometimes you hurt someone in a way that can't be fixed and even if if hurts a lot and you still care, it's better to separate.

But if someone is hurting you a lot and they don't apologize or make up things, then you should leave them. Ass-kicking optional.

They don't hurt me. I hurt them. Sometimes it's a mistake and sometimes I want to hurt them.

Can you love somebody and still hurt them?
